Kate Middleton was forced to downgrade by Queen Elizabeth. After spending thousands of pounds on private helicopters and jets, there’s a new report that says the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted on a commercial jet on her way home to London from her first solo trip to the Netherlands this week.
According to AOL, Kate, who was still dressed in her blue Catherine Walker suit that she wore at The Hague and her meeting with King Willem-Alexander, was spotted boarding a British Airways flight. Of course, she flew First Class but many eyewitnesses say that the entire flight was surprised to see her onboard. She supposedly only spoke to the cabin crew and kept to herself during the short hour and a half flight.
Of course, Kate Middleton’s commercial flight comes as a surprise for royal observers who know all too well how the Duchess loves to be pampered everywhere she goes. She’s been accused of wasting money on $5,000 helicopter rides from London to Anmer Hall and going on lavish and luxurious overseas vacations with her husband Prince William and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. It’s without a doubt that Queen Elizabeth has been left disgusted with the way Kate Middleton spends money when she herself has managed to take trains and more sensible modes of transportation.
Even though the Duchess had her bodyguards with her, she created quite the scene on the British Airways flight. Of course, this might all be part of the royal family’s plans to repair Kate Middleton’s image as a more down-to-earth, humble royal rather than spoiled and demanding.
Tired of all the negative press Prince William and Kate Middleton have been getting for their work-allergic attitude, Queen Elizabeth has finally put matters into her hands by not only putting the couple to work – separately, no less – but taking things down a notch when it comes to their royal demands.
She’s tired of Kate’s leeching and that’s why she’s putting her in her place, even if it’s a British Airways commercial flight. Prince William and Kate Middleton love being showered with gifts while dining with the elite and that’s why the Queen is not only putting a stop to it, but sending a clear message to her grandson and his wife: she won’t allow for them to take the monarchy down once she’s gone.
