Kate Middleton and Prince William The Laziest Royal Couple in History?

The title of Laziest Royal Couple in British history should be awarded to Kate Middleton and Prince William. Has any Royal couple ever been given that title? It’s been years, but it may have once been held by Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

The Cambridge’s, mainly Prince William, seem to be shirking their obligations. The future King is putting in about 80 hours a month as a pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance. A Palace insider divulged that the Duke of Cambridge schedule with EAAA is abbreviated because William has a full schedule of Royal responsibilities to which he must attend.

Apparently the 20 hours per week Prince William works completely follows the Civil Aviation Authority regulations so that pilots don’t burn out and have accidents. Okay, so the Duke of Cambridge gets in the bare minimum of hours required because… why? Prince William has a calendar overloaded with official Royal obligations? Nearly three months into 2016 the second-in-line to the throne has only two official appointments on his calendar. What’s up with that?

The Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t seem to have many Royal appointments in her date book either. The Huff Post U.K. editing gig was a half-day thing and then and exhausted Kate Middleton ran off on an expensive shopping spree for an upcoming trip to Scotland.

Prince George is in preschool a few half-days every week and Princess Charlotte has a nanny to help out. Why isn’t the Duchess of Cambridge out and about doing more charitable work? There really isn’t any acceptable excuse is there?

At 93-years-old the Duke of Edinburgh was busier than Prince William in 2015! Prince Philip fulfilled 250 official duties, some of them abroad. How does the Duke of Cambridge stack up? The number you’re looking for is 198 – and that’s Prince William’s, Kate Middleton’s and Prince Harry’s Royal responsibilities COMBINED!

Yes, the 93-year-old Duke who has been in poor health for quite a number of years, was able to work more often than William, Kate and Harry – again – combined!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are scheduled to make state visits to India and Bhutan sometime this spring, yet no firm dates have been announced. Spring is quickly approaching and yet the public still has no idea when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be put to work.

Did Queen Elizabeth give the future King and Queen a pass in 2015 because Princess Kate was pregnant with Princess Charlotte? If that’s the case, isn’t it time for the Cambridge’s to pick up the pace and get back to work?
