Kate Middleton won’t be part of sister Pippa Middleton’s formal wedding ceremony according to new reports hitting the Internet. Pippa Middleton became a household name after the world noticed her for the first time at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding back in 2011. She served as her sister’s bridesmaid and fast became a fixture in the gossip blogs as the celebrity world’s hottest new socialite.
But now that the Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding is doing to be the socialite event of 2017, there’s already a report that says Kate Middleton won’t be taking any part in it.
Yet, many critics believe that Kate Middleton serving as a bride’s maid in Pippa Middleton’s wedding might upstage the bride on her very special day. Sure, the Duchess of Cambridge might be Pippa Middleton’s sister, but she’s also the future Queen of England and there’s a good chance that all eyes might be on her on Pippa’s very special day.
Veteran royals author Judy Wade agrees. She says that the Duchess of Cambridge should not take part in Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding as there’s a chance that she might overshadow the bride.
“Kate would upstage her sister. It’s a tricky situation for Pippa,” Wade says. “She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well? But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible.”
While there’s no doubt that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be attending Pippa Middleton’s wedding with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the royal family will want to keep a low profile during the ceremony, to avoid any scandals at all costs.
After all, Pippa Middleton’s future in-laws including reality television star Spencer Matthews will be there, and given his penchant for drinking and drugs, Prince William and Kate Middleton will want to stay as far away as possible from Spencer Matthews or any of his d-listed friends for that matter.
Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding will be the talk of the town, but it’s no royal wedding. Pippa Middleton has been waiting for this moment for years now, especially after dealing with multiple break-ups and heartaches, especially with her last on-again, off-again boyfriend, Nico Jackson.
