Even though Kate Middleton and Prince William already have two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the Duchess has made it no secret that she wants a big family. She’s also seems to love the attention that she gets whenever she’s pregnant or Kate Middleton baby bump headlines make the news.
And considering how quiet the Duchess of Cambridge has been since news broke of Pippa Middleton’s engagement, there’s a good chance that she might be plotting something behind closed doors in order to make sure that the royal spotlight stays on her, even when everyone knows that the Pippa Middleton and James Matthews wedding is going to be the social event of the year for London’s top tier celebrities and socialites.
When it comes to the Middleton sisters, there’s only room for one at the top, and Kate Middleton has clearly proven that she didn’t wait almost ten years for a proposal from Prince William for nothing. Even though she’s been criticized for doing very little when it comes to her charity work and lacking in charisma and personality, Kate Middleton still makes headlines for what she wears, how she does her hair and where she’ll be next – even though she says very little.
Pippa Middleton on the other hand has not only struggled to stay in the spotlight, but she’s also had several failed attempts at trying to break the entertainment business as a celebrity party planner and a rocky love life, too. Now that she finally has her man and an engagement ring, there’s no doubt that Pippa Middleton will milk all the publicity that she can in the coming months, whether her sister Kate Middleton likes it or not.
After all, Kate Middleton and Pippa Middleton are rarely even seen in public together anymore. Even though Kate is the Duchess of Cambridge, surely she can make the time to celebrate Pippa Middleton’s engagement with her? Or maybe enjoy a quiet night out to talk about Pippa Middleton’s wedding plans and dress shopping?
Kate Middleton might not be taking any part in the ceremony, but that doesn’t mean she should be ignoring her sister. The worst thing Kate Middleton can do right now is steal her thunder by announcing that she’s pregnant with her third child. There’s no doubt that Kate Middleton’s baby bump would definitely steal the spotlight from Pippa Middleton on her own wedding day.
