On this weeks episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Kris wakes up to find out that her son Rob and his girlfriend China have gotten engaged. Kris is very upset and she says “I woke up to a million texts about Rob and I saw that she had gotten engaged.” She tells her friend Sheila about Rob’s engagement and she tells her “I Kdidn’t know anything about this. He proposed to her in front of her whole family and didn’t call me or tell his sisters or anything.” Sheila commiserates with Kris and asks “Are you going to call him?” Kris says “No, he should have called me.”
Everyone decides to put the news of Rob’s engagement on the backburner and focus on having a great time on the rest of their trip to Veil. Scott is having a tough time. He says “This trip is the most time Kourtney and I have spent together and it’s a little weird because Kourtney and I aren’t together so I don’t know how to act. I miss Kourtney and I miss my family .”
Later in the day everyone meets up to have lunch. Kim gets a call from her friend Roxy. Kim tells her “This is embarrassing. He must hate our whole family.” When she gets off the phone she relays it to Kourtney. Tyga steps in and gives his opinion. He tells them “It has nothing to do with you. Everyone has to go their own way. She’s not a bad person.” Khloe says “I feel like Rob is enjoying the big wedge that is between us and someone is in his ear telling him to cut us out. Rob will come crawling back when he needs something the way he always does. He is full of it.” Kylie asks “Should I call her?” Tyga says “No. Kim you should call her because you are the rational one.” Kendall asks if they are going to the wedding. Kourtney says “No. None of us should go if he has a wedding.” Kris looks a bit stunned by it all. Kim says “How many weddings have we gone to that haven’t meant anything?”
Corey, Sheila and Kris are heading up to the top of the mountain for a dinner that she set up for the entire family to be together and enjoy the sunset. While they are at dinner Kris gets a text from a wedding videographer to forward her email to Rob. Kris is really upset. As they are sitting at the table Kim calls and tells her “We are not coming to dinner. I was all dressed and ready to go and no one else showed up to catch the bus.” She also tells Kris “It is getting so dark already and by the time we get there it will be really late. I’m sorry we’ll make it up to you.” Kris is very upset. She says “Until we can do these family vacations like a real family then I am not doing this anymore. If my kids don’t care then neither do I.”
Kim and the rest of the family decide to have dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Kourtney makes a joke and says “I could change my kids last name.” Scott gets very upset and says “I’m sitting right here.” Kourtney says “It was just a joke.” Tyga says “Let’s cheers.” Kourtney says “Cheers to what?” Tyga tells her “Do you not realize I am on the outside looking in? You guys have a really tight family.” Kourtney says “Cheers to being blessed.”
After dinner everyone goes out bowling. Everyone is having a drink and Khloe asks Scott “Are you ok with us all drinking?” Scott says “I don’t care that everyone is drinking.” Scott says “I get overly emotional when I drink and that is a lot of the time when Kourtney and I would fight. I promised her that I would not drink on this trip.” Later that night Kim is reading a story about Rob’s engagement and the fact that his family was left out. Kourtney says “I don’t think anyone should congratulate him because then it would look fake to be the first one who does.” Kylie says “If we remain silent then it will look like we don’t care and this will go on longer.” Kim says “I agree with Kylie on some level. I also know that it won’t matter what we say because people are still going to talk about it. We don’t hate Rob. We just want him to be happy.”
Kylie is leaving with Tyga and Kendall is going with them because she has to get home for a work trip. Kris does not look happy as she leaves. Kris and the group arrives for lunch. When they get there Kim tells her “Since we missed your dinner the other night we really wanted to apologize.” After lunch everyone heads out Khloe starts a snowball fight and everyone gets together for a group photo on the slopes. The sisters all go out shopping. Kim and Kourtney are talking and Kim asks her “Were you nervous for Scott to come?” Kourtney says “I was nervous about him coming, but he has been great on this trip.” Kim says “It was a great idea for Scott to come on this vacation so that he can know that he is part of this family.” They are having lunch and Kris receives a text from Rob. She reads it for the group and it says “Call me when you are alone.” This really upsets Khloe. She says “There is no family loyalty when it comes to Rob. He is the weakest link and he needs to be cut.” Kim says “It sucks when other people know more about our family than we do. If we have a heads up we can get out in front of things but being blindsided sucks.” Corey says “The mom’s animosity is directed at Kourtney and Kris. I don’t like that.” Kim says “Maybe I need to reach out to Rob personally.” Kanye says “Kim and I have both been in situations where we’ve not been liked by family.”
Back out on the slopes everyone is getting ready to go snowmobiling. Kim says “I love doing all of these fun family things. This has been the perfect trip.” Everyone is out on snowmobiles having a blast. Scott says “I think it is great go out on snowmobiles in a pack and being all together. It is a great way to get out of your own head and just relax.”
Kris, Corey and John are heading back to the hotel. She tells them “We had so much fun today, but I really wish that Kendall and Kylie could have been here today. I miss who ever is not here just like I miss Rob.” She says “That’s what mom’s do. We love and we worry and care about our kids. I just want Rob to be happy.”
Everyone heads upstairs to hang out for a bit and play charades. Kim says “We have had so much fun in Veil. The fact that we can play games and carry on these traditions with our own kids means so much and it makes the trip extra special.” Kourtney says “I was really nervous about Scott coming on this trip, but it’s really nice that we can all hang out and have fun. It’s great that we can all be one big happy family.” On their last night Kourtney tells the family ” This has been a lot of fun. Scott and I were thinking about staying an extra day.” Kris says “It makes me really happy to know that Kourtney and Scott are having so much fun that they are staying an extra day. Hopefully this is the sign of a new Scott and maybe they can begin again.”
The next day everyone is preparing to leave. Kris says “I’m surprised Kourtney and Scott stayed.” Kim says “They were getting along and so they decided to stay.” Kris says “The only thing missing was Rob.” Kim says “Minus the little Rob drama this trip has been wonderful.
