LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s financial problems are apparently getting worse. That’s probably why Eddie Cibrian was forced to sell his marital home with ex-wife Brandi Glanville in a last-ditch effort for the actor to stay afloat.
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s marriage has lasted for five years but the couple has been struggling to find decent work in the entertainment industry. LeAnn Rimes’ country music career isn’t what it used to be as she hasn’t had a hit single in years. What’s more, Eddie Cibrian’s Hollywood career has tanked ever since he married LeAnn Rimes.
The actor hasn’t had stable work in several years and has mostly been living off of LeAnn Rimes’ fortune. And rather than making wise investments, the couple has been spending their money on expensive cars and jewelry while also taking multiple luxury vacations every year.
According to TMZ, Eddie Cibrian sold his modest 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom townhouse in Toluca Lake, California for just $635,000. He had listed the home for $100,000 more when he originally put the property for sale earlier this year in February. Eddie Cibrian has struggled to find a buyer for the 1,8000 square feet home overlooking the Hollywood Hills and has been forced to settle for a price for less than what he wanted.
Of course, this is definitely good news for LeAnn Rimes. The country singer surely wasn’t pleased that Eddie Cibrian and Brandi Glanville’s first marital home was still available. After all, LeAnn Rimes has done everything in her power to exclude Brandi Glanville from her husband’s life. And now that the townhome has sold, the memories of Eddie Cibrian’s first marriage is finally gone.
Yet, many critics think the reason why Eddie Cibrian sold his house is because of his current cash flow problem. There’s a possibility that money is so tight right now in his LeAnn Rimes marriage that he had no choice but to sell his home “as is” without renovating it and making a decent profit.
