Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 5 has been given an official air date by VH1 – the reality show is set to return or an all new 2016 premiere on Monday March 28. There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the new season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and the Season 5 cast. So, which LHHA stars were fired, and who will be returning?
First and foremost, the on-again off-again couple we all love to hate – Stevie J. and Joseline Hernandez. Stevie and Joseline have been appearing on their own spin-off show “Stevie And JOseline Take Hollywood” and there was a lot of speculation that they wouldn’t be back to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta since they branched off on their own. But, both Stevie and Joseline have been listed as cast members to Season 5, and Joseline confirmed the news on Instagram.
Speaking of spin-offs, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta fan favorite K. Michelle has also been starring on her own reality TV show, but she too is headed back to Atlanta as an official member of the VH1 cast for Season 5. Along with Stevie, Joseline, and K. Michelle, the following people will be returning as well: Bambi Benson, Mimi Faust, Rasheeda Frost, and Karlie Redd.
The lengthy list of recurring cast members includes some familiar names like Yung Joc, Tammy Rivera, Lil Scrappy, Momma Dee, Ariane Davis, and Kirk Frost.
So, who will not be returning to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta? According to MTO, both Erica Dixon and Margeaux Simms have been officially fired from VH1. Erica tried to spin her exit from the show and recently insisted in an interview that she left LHHA on her own accord because reality TV was “too much” for her – but word on the internet is that she is just trying to save face and doesn’t want to admit that she was canned by the network.
