Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 5’s new cast members Karen King and her sons Scrapp DeLeon and Sas have been stirring up quite a bit of drama on LHHATL. Before the show even began there was a media firestorm over Karen and her sons – who were actually accused of attempted murder a few years ago, after orchestrating an attack on their own father and then tossing him in the trunk of a car. According to a new report, Scrapp is currently sitting in prison now for a completely unrelated crime – and he isn’t even getting to watch himself on the VH1 reality TV show!
Scrapp’s current love triangle with his baby-mama Tiara and girlfriend Tommie (who has 32 of her own mugshots floating around the internet) has been front and center since Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta kicked off this month. You better enjoy Scrapp’s screentime while it is airing though, because he most definitely will not be appearing on the reunion show and will be in a prison until 2021…at the earliest!
According to Scrapp’s most recent arrest record – he was taken into custody in 2014 for trafficking marijuana. And, we’re going to assume it was a lot of marijuana, because according to the official Georgia State Prison Inmate Website, Scrapp is serving a twenty year sentence. Scrapp began his lengthy sentence in March 2016 after he was found guilty.
So, when Scrapp was filming Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, he knew he was about to go to prison for a very long time. Call us crazy, but we wouldn’t want to spend our final days of freedom bickering with Tommie and Tiara.
