Love & Hip Hop Houston is happening! Earlier this year Love & Hip Hop spoilers teased that VH1 was adding another spinoff to their popular reality TV franchise, and was considering filming in Houston, Texas. Now, we can confirm that the Houston spinoff is officially happening, Season 1 will be premiering sometime in 2016 on Vh1, AND thanks to an exclusive report from Fameolous, we now know the Love & Hip Hop Houston cast!
Mona Scott and the VH1 cameras were reportedly spotted in Houston, following around a mixed group of rappers and celebs, and of course a few D-List social media stars we have never heard of. We’re not going to cast any judgement though, we never heard of Cardi B before she joined Love & Hip Hop New York, and now we can’t imagine the show without her.
According to Fameolous, the Love & Hip Hop Houston cast includes some familiar names, our personal favorite, Kirko Bangz. The other rappers spotted filming (or aspiring rappers hoping to get a big break on VH1) include: The Sauce Twins, J. Prince Jr, and Propain.
Of course, there’s a random “promoter,” who basically serves no purpose except for to plan parties for the cast members to get in to cat fights at – Lil Kieth. There’s also a DJ in the mix, DJ Eric, and an aspiring singer named Brittany.
The Love & Hip Hop Houston cast also includes veteran reality TV stars Johnni Blaze and Mehgan James. Interesting enough, the Houston spinoff will also include a couple of athletes. Pro Boxers, The Charlo Twins, were spotted being trailed by VH1 cameras in Houston as well.
