Mariah Carey is demanding a $50 million dollar ‘inconvenience’ fee from her ex-fiancé James Packer. Now that the couple has broken up, Mariah feels as though she wasted her time with the Australian businessman and wants to be compensated for the time she lost. Will James in turn accuse Mariah Carey of cheating on him with her backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka.
According to sources close to Mariah reports are that her break up with James is about to get a whole lost messier because of a certain incident that happened between the ex-couple on a yacht vacation they recently took together. Of course, no one knows what exactly went down, but sources say that Mariah is feeling so traumatized over it that she was forced to cancel her South American tour in order to recover from it.
Previous reports indicated that Mariah Carey canceled her tour because of promoter negligence, but now insiders are saying it’s because of her break up with James Packer.
Of course, only someone like Mariah Carey can get away with charging a $50 million dollar inconvenience fee for someone who has been wasting her precious time and energy throughout their relationship. While there’s no doubt that James Packer should have known what he was getting into before proposing to Mariah – she is the entertainment industry’s biggest diva after all – there’s no way he expected to be hit with such an outrageous ‘fee’ like this.
But then again, if there’s one person who can afford to pay Mariah, it would be James.
While there’s little chance that James will actually pay up, this just further proves that Mariah definitely lives in her own world that is far outside of reality. Surely, Mariah did have to make some major changes in her life to help accommodate her relationship with James, like move from New York City to Los Angeles so he can be closer to his children.
But that by no means gives her any reason to be this demanding after their break up. Mariah Carey clearly wanted to make their engagement work and that’s why she moved her life around for him, but that still doesn’t excuse her for giving him an ultimatum.
That is of course if Mariah is willing to dish all the dirt on their relationship and humiliate James Packer and herself in court at the end of the day.
