Mariah’s dinner party had gotten on a such a great foot that she had honestly thought everything was going to be great. However, there was no such thing as a peaceful evening with this set of alleged friend. They had all claimed that were ready to move forward at the start of the dinner and then they fallen back into some familiar patterns. So someone finally addressed the elephant in the room which was namely the relationship that some of the others ladies with each and that led to one fight after the other. Like with what happened between Heavenly and some of the women she thought her friends yet proved that they had wanted to discuss her behavior with her.
So it sadly didn’t matter what Mariah tried to do because the women she was befriending again had sort of it ruined it all what with all of the arguments that broke out at the dinner table. There was a fight over whether or not Heavenly was offensive with the way she talks to people and if her approach desperately needed work. Though Heavenly didn’t think that she had a problem or that both Toya and Quad would agree with the new girl yet Heavenly did apologize. She said that she hadn’t meant to put anyone off which was why she felt a problem should have been discussed directly with her and that she shouldn’t have called another woman a “weak bitch”.
But the fight between Toya and Lisa Nicole was the nastiest because there wasn’t any laughing it off at the end or an attempt to move on after some of the things that had been said. Toya had apparently been told that she was a bad friend. She had offered up advice to Lisa Nicole that she didn’t want to hear and she had also thrown the relationship Lisa had with her husband under the bus. So Mariah’s dinner was one drama after the other and actual seats had to be moved around just to keep Toya and Lisa apart though their fight didn’t end just there. They had both said things they shouldn’t have and there was no coming back.
Toya was usually someone that simply likes to move however she had said some pretty horrible things. So she wasn’t just a victim who had wrongly been attacked at the dinner table. She had traded some blows with Lisa and had even gone the additional step by bringing up the rumors from last year. Like when Darren had been called gay and some man claimed to have slept with him. Yet, its important to note that Darren denies those claims and his wife was a firm supporter. She said Darren didn’t sleep with a man nor was he gay and that the story circulating had been part of a conspiracy.
A conspiracy she had funnily enough had said was Quad’s fault, but has since forgiven and have moved on from. However, Lisa and Quad had both said that their relationship was forever changed after last year and that there was no healing the rift. So there was some confusion behind Mariah and Toya saying that their fight which had been a physical altercation had brought them closer. That hadn’t made sense to anyone who had been in a such fight and seemed an odd of repairing a relationship that had been broken. And so Lisa and Quad were some of the loudest people that doubted Mariah and Toya could suddenly be close again.
Yet, they did become close. Mariah and Toya were hanging out again and Mariah didn’t let Toya’s feelings interfere with her relationship with Lisa while Toya felt safe enough to discuss her financial situation. Toya and her husband were still having money difficulties because of they owed money to the IRS though all of Toya’s friends knew why nothing was going to change. Toya like to spend money and she didn’t know how to stop at a limit. Like when she went out with Quad and Heavenly and spent the most money out of all of them. So they all understood that someone needed to talk to Toya about a budget and Quad later stepped in.
Quad was smart enough to see that Toya needed to change for her family if not for herself. So she went over to Toya’s house and had showed her what she needed to do to pay of what she owed within a year. Quad showed Toya spending basket. The basket had ramen noodles, hot dogs, one bottle of wine, and other stuff that Toya would need on a weekly basis that wouldn’t break the bank. But Toya had seen the basket as almost a joke. She thought that it should be her husband Eugene’s concern about paying off the back taxes and she didn’t just didn’t get why she should start making wise business choices.
So Toya did have a problem. She was either a shopaholic or couldn’t understand what budget truly meant if her family was ever going to get out of a financial hole. Though while she and her husband were struggling to correct some of their previous errors, she should have at least been more understanding of what Lisa was going through. Lisa and her husband had spoken about whether he wanted another baby and Darren had assured her that he couldn’t to have another child. And so Darren was doing everything possible to prove to his wife that he was all in.
Darren for instance had agreed to counseling sessions with Lisa and hopefully that will help them to trust one another. So Lisa has been working on her issues and she didn’t need anyone else’s opinion yet Heavenly who did need a talking to had said tonight that she was going to try to change. Heavenly had heard from her friends that she was abrasive and her own daughter had said that she thought that too. Which was why the dentist felt that she should change her behavior before her daughter thought her attitude was ok to take with friends.
But there was some sad news tonight because Simone’s father has been missing for several weeks now and Simone was fearing for the worst.
