Tonight on ABC the glitz and the glamour returns to the ballroom as Dancing With The Stars returns for a 22nd season. Model and Actor Nyle DiMarco & his professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd took the stage tonight and danced a Cha Cha to “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE. Did you watch tonight’s episode? The premiere episode kicked off with an exciting and dynamic opening number, featuring all of the celebrities and dancers, along with returning head judge Len Goodman. The night continues with each couple dancing a cha cha, fox trot, jive, tango or quickstep, vying for America’s vote for the first time. There will be no eliminations this week, all couples will move on to week 2.
Judges comments on Nyle’s DWTS Premiere Cha Cha: Len: “I don’t know what I expected, but I didn’t expect that. Once you got into your NY step, it got better and better. Well done.”Bruno: “Are you for real, I have to touch you in case you are a fantasy. You could be America’s next top dancer.” Carrie Ann: “I have so many mixed emotions, at first I thought you were so hot and then you were in the pocket of the rhythm. This about team work and this is a beautiful team to watch.”
