Quantico Recap 3/27/16: Season 1 Episode 15 "Turn"

Tonight on ABC Quantico airs with an all new Sunday March 27, season 1 episode 15 called, “Turn” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode at Quantico, Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) and Liam (Josh Hopkins) pay a deadly price when a terror cell tries to infiltrate Quantico.

On the last episode, at Quantico, the recruited took defensive driving lessons; and tensions between Liam and Drew explode. On tonight’s episode as per the ABC synopsis, “Miranda and Liam pay a deadly price when a terror cell tries to infiltrate Quantico. In the future, Alex receives instructions; and Claire Haas’ life is endangered.”

Present – Tonight’s episode of Quantico kicks off with Alex and Simon in Brooklyn – they have been up all night trying to decode the terrorist’s voice in the threat that they received. Alex is freaking out – whoever the terrorist is, has all of the security details for next week’s elections. Simon reassures her, and says they are going to get ahead of the terrorist this time. While he works on the voice, Alex leaves to get Ryan’s help changing the security details at the election.

Flashback to Quantico – this week the trainees are getting closer to graduation, and things are awkward between Shelby and Caleb. Meanwhile, Miranda is pressuring Liam to resign. He refuses, he says that if Miranda wants him out – then she is going to fire him. In class, Caleb’s mom comes in to discuss hate crimes. They will be looking at cases that were presented to the FBI, and they will decide if they are just violent offenses or hate crimes.

Nimah stops by Miranda’s office, she is not happy She demands to know if Miranda sent Raina to work undercover at a training cell. Miranda tells Nimah to stay out of it, and the she begins calling Nimah’s phone an trying to find her, she tells her to get out of the terrorists’ house ASAP.

Present – Alex heads to work and tries to find Ryan to talk to him about the elections. The terrorist calls Alex’s phone again and tells her that it is time for her to “open the package.” Alex takes out the enveloped that she received and finds a pill bottle inside. The terrorist tells Alex that she needs to switch the pill bottle with the bottle in the Senator’s purse. Alex whines that she isn’t going to get close enough to the Senator, she is surrounded by security. The terrorist won’t hear it – they reminds Alex that she and the Senator are old pals.

Alex calls Simon and says that she got one of the pills tested – and they are harmless, they are just blood pressure pills. She wants to give them to the Senator. Simon warns her that for all they know she could be allergic to the medication. Alex is working on a plan, she is going to get to the Senator’s purse via her campaign manager Amanda.

Flashback to Quantico – the students are all arguing over hate crimes, and what is grounds for a hate crime. Miranda fills Liam in on Raina, she asks him to watch her classes. She explains that Raina infiltrated the terrorist cell that had Charlie, and they are about to make a move on their target.

A delivery van shows up at Quantico, and it has about 12 men in the back with machine guns. They shoots and kill all the guards at the gate and head inside. The campus goes on complete lock down. Raina and Charlie arrive at the gate a few minutes later, and see all of the dead guards. Raina puts the car in reverse and peels off, shouting at Charlie to call his mother Miranda to see what is going on.

In the car, Charlie has a meltdown. He cries to Raina that the terrorists never really kidnapped them, he left with them all on his own. It was all a rouse so that he would be questioned on the Quantico campus, he gave them all of the information on the layout of Quantico and where the guards were stationed.

Shelby is hiding out in the woods – she ran off the campus in a huff because Iris had told her that her parents were still alive, and Caleb had been hiding it from her, right before they were under attack. Caleb sneaks out of the classroom that is under lockdown to find her. They see one of the terrorists running through the woods with a gun, and Liam is about to be his next victim. But, the Quantico students work together to save him.

The FBI arrives and takes down the terrorists, Miranda and Nimah leave to go see her sister and Charlie. On their way out, they bump in to Liam – Miranda confesses that her son Charlie might have helped the terrorists that attacked them. Liam insists that he is going with them.

Present – Alex is still trying to get close enough to the Senator to switch the pills. She has a plan, she texts the Senator and tells her that she knows where Caleb is. The Senator agrees to meet with Alex, she tells her that she knows Alex is lying – because Caleb might be hiding, but she has talked to her son and she knows exactly where he is, and Alex does not. Senator Haas tells Alex that she is “done at the FBI.”

Alex talks to Hannah, she tells her the entire story – that the terrorist is forcing her to switch the Senator’s pills. She begs Hannah for help or else another one of her friends will be killed. Hannah takes the pills, then she takes Alex’s gun and badge too and says that she is fired.

Flashback – Miranda arrives at her house where Raina and Charlie are waiting for her. Liam and Nimah wait outside in the car. Raina gets ready to leave, but one of the terrorists (Derrick) comes out of hiding and pulls a gun on all three of them.

Alex meets up with Ryan at a hole in the wall bar. Ryan is thrilled to see her, but Alex informs him that this is the last time that they will be seeing each other. She has decided that they are too much distrations to each other. She is jeopardizing his undercover job, and she was off her game when she was underfire at Quantico.

Nimah managed to sneak a phone call to Liam while Derrick was holding them hostage inside Miranda’s house. Liam has the entire house surrounded by the FBI and SWAT is record time. Inside, Derrick gives Charlie a gun and tells him to shoot and kill his mother Miranda to prove that he is a true believer. Charlie turns the gun on Derrick and shoots him instead. Then Charlie goes over the deep end, he won’t give his mother the gun. Outside the snipers see a black man running around with a gun and assume that it is the terrorist – they shoot Miranda’s son Charlie instead, the EMT’s rush in and Charlie is rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

Present – Alex and Simon are freaking out. She failed at her mission, now the terrorist is going to kill another one of her friends. Her cell phone rings and Alex begs the caller not to kill anyone. The voice replies, “Why would I do that? You did exactly what you were supposed to do” and then hangs up. Alex and Simon are obviously confused. Then, there is a knock at the door – it’s Hannah. She marches in and reveals that she swapped the pills because after Alex left she realized she was telling the truth.
