Tonight’s episode starts off with present Teresa speaking to her future self in Camila’s housing complex. Future Teresa tells her present self that there is a flower called Lirio de Los Valles that blooms best in the shade: this flower is her, thriving despite the darkness. James tells Teresa that she has moved up in the organization and is going on her first solo drug deliveries. He tells her if she gets busted not to say anything and warns her against running away. James hands her a business card instructing her to give it to the police if she is caught.

Camila purchased four cars at a local dealership, instructing the salesman to have them delivered to Mexico. Don Epifanio receives intel on Brenda and her son from one of his men. The man tells Don Epifanio that Brenda received a call on her cell phone that came from a burner phone in Dallas, less than three blocks from Camila’s warehouse.The bus carrying Brenda and her son arrives at a Dallas supermarket. Brenda calls Teresa to pick them up but, since Teresa is completing her delivery for Camila, they make plans to meet after she is done. Teresa pulls up to a house where she is invited inside to wait by a man. Inside the house, she sees a woman tied up in the corner. She slides the woman a knife so she can cut herself free and the woman kills the man and his associate.

Brenda calls Teresa to pick them up but, since Teresa is completing her delivery for Camila, they make plans to meet after she is done. Teresa pulls up to a house where she is invited inside to wait by a man. Inside the house, she sees a woman tied up in the corner. At Camila’s club, she receives a call from Cesar, who is looking for information on Teresa and Brenda. He tells Camila that Epifanio knows that Teresa is no longer in Mexico. Meanwhile, Teresa and Cassandra call James and tell him what happened with the botched delivery.
Unbeknownst to Camila, Cesar is waiting outside her club and when Camila and James leave to come to Teresa’s aid, he follows them. Back at the house, Teresa helps the woman’s son bandage his injured hand. In thanks, the boy gives her a small doll. Back at the supermarket, Brenda hustles some men for money. When James and Camila arrive at the house, Camila questions one of the men who is still barely alive to find out who his informant was. Camila tells James to get someone else to cover the other delivery and instructs Teresa to return to the club. She then tells Cassandra to turn on the stove. Back at the club, Epifanio’s man attacks Teresa and kidnaps her.
One of Camila’s men sees that Teresa’s car window has been smashed and that she is missing, and calls Camila, who is burying the bodies of the two men. Security tapes reveal that Cesar kidnapped Teresa. In Cesar’s car on the way back to Mexico, he throws out her phone and questions her as to whether or not Camila knows about the notebook that Guero entrusted to her.
She confirms to Cesar that Camila doesn’t know about the notebook, but that she made copies that will be automatically delivered to the DEA in the event of her death. Suddenly, a police car pulls Cesar over and he knocks Teresa out to keep her quiet. The officers turn out to be sent by Camila and arrest Cesar and retrieve Teresa from the car.
Back at the club, Teresa talks with James, who tells her that she is trouble and going to get him killed. Meanwhile Camila questions Cesar. He tells Camila that they know her business is three times bigger than what she told them and that she is dealing with the Colombians. She asks him why Teresa is so important to Epifanio and he replies that Teresa and Brenda say Pote and Gato murder Chino. Camila tells Cesar that she is going back to Mexico to take back what is hers. She tells him that she is going to let him live and that he can decide whether or not to tell Epifanio the truth about finding Teresa. She says if he becomes her ally he will make enormous profits.
Teresa thanks Camila for saving her life. When asked why Camila merely says that she had her reasons. Teresa goes to meet Brenda and her son. She tells Brenda that there is something in Mexico that can save their lives if she can figure out how to retrieve it. She gives Brenda money and tells her to get food and a motel room and that she will come pick them up tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Teo meets with Camila to make sure there is no way to trace the new business venture back to her. In Mexico, one of the cars is delivered to a warehouse where one of Epifanio’s men is preparing a shipment of drugs. The trunk is filled with cash. Camila calls the man and offers to set up an alliance. Having made his choice, Cesar returns to Epifanio and tells him that he found Teresa.
