Taylor Swift Snaps Back At Demi Lovato’s Skinny Girl Squad Shade: Wants To Force Hypercritical Demi Out Of Music Industry?

Demi Lovato might not have a spot in Taylor Swift’s girl squad after the recent comments she made in an interview, which threw shade at T-Swift’s tight-knit group of celebrity friends by claiming none of them representing “real” women. Demi threw shade Taylor’s way for only having friends that look like runway models, stating that not only does it set a bad example for young girls, but that they look unrealistic compared to the average woman.

In a new interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine, Demi took a swipe at the ‘Bad Blood’ singer, saying that none of them have bodies that look healthy and proportional according to her supposed standards. She said, “I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.”

Not one to take a negative comment lightly about her or her friends, Taylor Swift supposedly hit back at Demi for her rather shady comments. One source close to the singer dished, “Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others’ back and sometimes people just want that. She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends.”

Of course, no one knows why Demi continues to slam celebrities for the way they look, when she herself has dealt with years of low self-esteem and confidence when it comes to her own body issues. Attacking Taylor Swift and her squad of supermodel girlfriends will do nothing for Demi Lovato but make her look jealous and petty in her word-for-word exchange. That’s why both fans and critics alike think it would be a good idea for Demi Lovato to take a much-needed break from both the celebrity spotlight and social media until she gets the help she desperately needs.

Demi Lovato wants celebrities like Taylor Swift to be better role models for their fans, but what she doesn’t realize is that she’s also making enemies in the process. And what kind of model is Demi’s hypercritical nature setting for young women? What is it teaching them about acceptance in all its forms?

If there’s one person Demi doesn’t want to mess with, it’s Taylor Swift, who just happens to be the most masterful celebrity when it comes to both manipulating and using the media to her advantage. The last thing she needs is for Taylor to launch a negative media campaign against her, which will only result in a major backlash that will ultimately force her out of the music industry. Do you agree, CDL readers?
