It’s the final two weeks until Catelyn and Tyler’s wedding on tonight’s episode of “Teen Mom OG” and it seems like things are finally coming together for them.
Recently, Tyler’s father had been released from prison and this time it feels different for everyone involved. Tyler had actually spoken with his father not long after the man’s release and he said he felt like his father Butch had finally learned his lesson in prison. And to be fair, Butch does seem more concerned about his family now more than ever.
One of the things he had told his kids that he wanted to stay out of trouble in order to be there for his grandkids. Most of whom he hasn’t spent a lot of time with. So what Butch was really trying to say is that he wants to become the man his children believe he can be.
And on tonight’s episode he began his transformation by changing his outer appearance. Apparently no one has ever seen him without his trademark long hair before, but his hair had kind of gotten unruly in prison. So he was all up for the suggestion that he go in for a drastic cut as well as getting rid of his salt and pepper coloring.
Therefore, the man that came out of the salon was an entirely different person. He looked younger and more importantly he looked good.
However, not everyone got to enjoy the new changes in their lives because Amber seems to have started something that she doesn’t know if she can continue. Remember when she was talking about using a lawyer to get joint custody, well, she actually went out and did just that. She applied for joint custody and, as a result, Gary was only allowing her to see Leah as much as the state’s bare minimum allows.
So it was petty and slightly vengeful but he had warned Amber about that if she ever started legal proceedings. And yet she’s the one that’s now being punished because she ended up losing a lot of her mommy/daughter time with Leah. Plus, the situation between her and Gary has gotten so bad that it in fact ruined all of the work they did to in the previous years.
And while Amber is being deprived of her daughter, Farrah is made to be ashamed of her Teen Mom status.
Farrah had begun a mother and daughter beauty line. And so there was a lot that needed to be done in order to promote it but no one had wanted Farrah to show up to at the infamous White Party in the Hamptons because they didn’t want to be attached to such a well-known teen mother. Who is also part of the Teen Mom franchise.
They had gotten back to Farrah’s people and had told her it would be too controversial for her to show up. So naturally Farrah’s mom had wondered if maybe they had said that because of the tape but that wasn’t it. And that had put additional strain on Farah’s relationship with her mother. Which by the way had just recently been mended after a different incident last week.
So Farrah was advised to just show up. Show up and be the life of the party while keep it classy and that way she would have embarrassed those that had attempted to disinvite her. And so Farrah listen to that advice, then she followed it which is how she wounded up getting kicked out of a party.
Although that wasn’t thing to happen on tonight’s episode because while that had embarrassing – it didn’t really affect Farrah’s like Maci’s situation did hers. It seems Maci and her boyfriend had been invited on an overnight trip, their first since they had Jayde, and they were actually enjoying themselves until someone jokily asked when they were going to get married. Apparently Maci wanted an answer to that as well because lately people have been constantly asking her the same thing.
And it looks like Taylor isn’t ready to get married. So for the time being the fact they share a child and as well as a house simply has to be enough.
Though on a happy note, despite her worrying, Catelyn soon enjoyed the separate bachelor and bachelorette parties. And in the end her party eventually met up with Tyler’s where they all continued to enjoy themselves.
THE END!
