The Bachelor 2016 star Ben Higgins needed his mom to talk him down and prevent him from quitting the show when the drama got to be too much for the tall drink of water. We are only 2 episodes deep into the current season and the drama is already heating up. From the off-her-rocker Lace to the too-big-for-her-britches Olivia, Ben Higgins has got his hands full. But does that really mean that he has to go crying to mommy when things get a little rough?
In one word, yes. An insider from the show’s production team ratted him out to Life & Style saying, “Ben was so upset in the middle of filming that he was ready to quit a few times because of all the drama with the girls fighting.”
I love my mom too. But come on, Ben. You knew what you were in for. If we don’t get a couple gallons of tears out of the ladies each episode, something is not right. You’ve got to man up and take the drama with a grain of salt. You can’t come off a pansy. That’s a big no no and a big turn off.
Each season of The Bachelor promises to be filled with cat fights, drama, and, of course, buckets of tears – even from The Bachelor himself. So this season isn’t going to be any different.
We are very glad that Ben was able to get some backup from his sweet mom, who thankfully was able to keep him on board to see the season through to the end. We need our scheduled Bachelor fix around here or we all might just lose it! Thank you, Mrs. Higgins!
Ben posted the photo above with his mom to his Instagram saying, “Got to spend the weekend with family and watch the final episode with this beautiful lady. She stayed strong and made it through…it can’t be easy watching your son on this journey but she did a pretty darn good job. #momnowknowsIamnotavirgin”
Ahhh! Did you read that hashtag?! Yup. Ben Higgins is already “kissing and telling.”
Moms have a magical, calming power. What would we do without them? Keep coming back to CDL for all of your Bachelor updates and gossip!
