#BiggestLoser begins on week four with the teams coming to meet Bob at night at a strange set-up. Bob talks about digital distractions and how they’ve been disconnected this whole time. Bob says American spend more than 11 hours a day in front of electronics.
Luis says he plays three or four hours of video games a day. Bob says the winners get a choice between reconnecting with the outside world for a week or they can get the gym for just their team for a week.
Bob says the challenge is to play a giant game of telephone. They see a color combination on a screen then they go through an obstacle course to match the color pattern. There are 14 color combinations.
Sarah can’t play because she’s not cleared medically. Team Dolvett goes first. Richard pulls up the box to reveal the screen. He watches for three minutes. Erin wonders if he’s throwing this. He watches it through five times then gives them a sentence made of seven words to give them colors.
They have to tell another one the colors then they do the device to the next person after colors in the maze. They are eight minutes in and Erin climbs a big wall. She’s having trouble getting over it. The second sequence Toy goes to the touch screen to enter it.
Toy misenters the next to the last one. Richard is frustrated. They go back to him to check and tell Toy it’s yellow that she missed. Erin has to run up and over the wall again. Their time is 25:44 for Tam Dolvett.
Now Team Jen has to beat their time. Colby is operating the screen for his team. He studies it and does four colors. They mess up one and don’t know it yet. The second set of four goes in correctly. The third set gets messed up twice as bad.
They are at 15 minutes down. The last two colors are entered and then they check it and see they’ve missed six of them. They have six and a half minutes left. They have 90 seconds left. They tell her five colors but they missed six. Vicki enters them and sees they are one short.
Team Dolvett wins it. Bob asks if they want the gym to themselves or contact back home. Bob then also says Team Jen gets the one they don’t choose. Then Bob shows them on the TV a little message from home. Toy shrieks with joy.
Team Dolvett votes for mostly the gym but Richard wants to talk to his husband and Jacky wants to talk to home. Bob says they need a decision now. They take the gym and the other team is happy they’ll get to talk to home.
Bob says Team Jen can’t use the gym but they’re confident they can use Jen to work out elsewhere. At the gym, Dolvett crows loudly that they have it all to themselves. He’s proud that they made that choice.
He says he’s going to prove that they made the right choice. Jen works with her team outside to try and do a good workout. She says they’re getting just as good of a burn outside the gym as inside.
Jen says Colby is really encouraging everyone even though his wife has gone home. He talks about his troubles. Team Jen does video calls with their families. Vicki’s son tells her she looks skinny.
Colby gets to talk to Hope and says everyone sends her love. He says it feels like he hasn’t seen her in ages. Sarah talks to her son Satch who has a speech delay and she’s so happy to see him. She cries and says her family is her special place.
In the gym, Dolvett works his team hard before the weigh in. Team Jen has her team out in Red Rock hiking. She has them pick up large rocks and throw them. It’s the last chance work out and she works them hard.
Jen tells the team she’s pissed off and says no one is responding and working. She wishes they were in the air conditioned gym. Richard wishes he had gotten a call home but says he won’t risk the team.
Jen tries to get her team motivated and says it’s theirs to lose. They have a team hug and try to refocus. They talk about losing last week and losing someone and how they need to really dig in and do this.

Bob reminds him he’s still eligible for the $100k at-home prize. Team Dolvett comes to tell Richard goodbye. He says he’s grateful for the opportunity and says he’s on track to take this on at home. He says he hopes American will see how much slimmer he is when they see him next.
Bob greets the teams and says it’s team change time. Colby and Jacky are team captains since they lost the most weight. They have to pick someone from the opposite team to be on their team then that person picks someone from the opposite team and so on.
Colby and Jacky each keep their trainer as well. Bob says there will be six players on each team when it’s done. Colby won the weigh in so he picks first and has to choose from Team Dolvett. He takes Erin.
Jacky takes Roberto. He’s upset and is worried they will split him from his brother. Erin chooses Luis. The twins are upset to be split. Roberto chooses Stephen. Luis chooses Toy. Stephen chooses Rob. Toy chooses Lauren.
Rob gets Felicia and Toy chose Jacky. Felicia takes Sarah. Sarah is very upset and says she was really attached to Jen but is happy to still be with her dad. Bob says being uncomfortable helps you grow and says being outside your comfort zone is good.
They now have to compete in a challenge. There are two big staircases of shipping containers. One side has puzzle piece and one a place to solve it. They have to come up and down them and carry the pieces to the puzzle box then solve it. The puzzle reveals the prize that will help them.
Felicia and Sarah have to sit out and so he sits out Toy and Vicki so the teams are even. The race starts. The teams are struggling with the heights. Team Jen takes the lead. Bob yells at them to pick up the pace and says they want this prize.
They are working on the puzzle pieces and it’s neck and neck. They are close. It says “3 pound advantage.” Team Jen wins it. Erin says this will help their team morale and is a great start to the new chapter.
Bob says enjoy your new teams and sends them out. Jen greets her new team and so does Dolvett. Dolvett says he sees unhappy faces about the switch. He says their camaraderie wasn’t ready to be broken.
Jen says this is like how life changes things on you all the time. Dolvett says embrace this and make it about themselves and the future. They start their workouts. Dolvett talks to his new people that came from Team Jen.
He says he knows it’s hard – he chats with Sarah and she says it’s hard for her to bond with people but says she trusts him. Toy is upset to see Dolvett boxing with Stephen. She misses him so much.
Jen sits down with Erin to talk. Erin says changing teams got in her way mentally. Erin says she wants to live a life of honesty and says she feels like she’s being honest for the first time in her life. She talks about her eating disorder after The Voice. She talks about the shame.
Bob tells them it’s a Last Chance Challenge that will suck. Luis isn’t cleared today. Jen says he woke up with a back spasm and says he isn’t even cleared to walk to the gym. Bob says that’s not good for Team Dolvett since Jen has a three pound advantage.
Bob says the losing team for this challenge will get a one pound disadvantage. He says it’s a relay – there is a treadmill, Assault bike and Jacob’s ladder legs of it. Erin and Roberto have to run ¼ mile on the treadmill.
Lauren is worried if she can keep the lead that Erin got them. Lauren starts her ¼ mile and Stephen for the other team. Vicki starts her mile on the bike. Sarah starts on the bike. Jen’s team has a small lead.
Now it’s Colby on the bike then Rob head to head. Toy starts her 200 feet on the Jacob’s ladder. Felicia now starts on the Jacob’s Ladder. Jen’s team has the lead but Felicia is going faster than Toy.
Felicia is scrambling hard. She was about 50 feet behind Toy when she started. Felicia is catching up. Toy tries to kick it into high gear but she’s getting tired. Felicia takes the lead. Team Dolvett wins the challenge. Felicia is thrilled to bring it home for the team.
Jen tells Toy she did a good job and encourages her. Team Jen has a two pound advantage now thanks to Dolvett’s win. It’s weigh in time and Bob greets them. He talks about Luis and Robert going up against each other.
