The Blacklist Season 3 spoilers tease that Elizabeth Keen may not really be dead on the NBC drama. The network is still mum on Megan Boone’s status on The Blacklist, giving fans hope that her death last week after complications during the birth of her daughter may just be an elaborate death hoax.
It’s not too far fetched – this wouldn’t be the first time that Elizabeth Keen’s death was faked on the show when she was in danger.
If Elizabeth Keen’s death was fake, then whoever faked it is going above and beyond to make it seem very real. The Blacklist Season 3 spoilers for Episode 20 ‘The Artax Network’ tease that Elizabeth’s funeral will be held, and her close friends come to pay their respects.
Meanwhile, Raymond Reddington and Elizabeth’s husband Tom Keen will begin fighting over who will be raising baby Agnes.
The Blacklist fans have been sharing theories all week on the internet about Elizabeth’s death. A popular theory is the obvious idea – Raymond Reddington is behind the cover-up. After all, faking someone’s death is right up his alley.
However, Red seemed truly distraught when Nik called her time of death. Another possibility is that Nik, Liz, and Tom conspired to fake her death and hide it from Red (with the help of Mr. Kaplan), in order to protect her.
It seems nearly impossible to accept the fact that Liz Keen could really be dead. Sadly, there are some glaring reasons to believe that Megan Boone has really left The Blacklist. First and foremost, Megan Boone gave birth April 15 to a baby daughter and could want some family time – like a year, to bond with her little girl.
She may have opted to leave the show so that she could be a full-time mom. And, then there is that Blacklist spinoff in the works. Spoilers have indicated that Tom Keen will be heading off on his own with baby Agnes and getting a spinoff.
If Liz Keen was coming back from the dead – they wouldn’t be ushering her baby and husband off the canvas and onto a different show.
