The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, December 16, tease that Katie (Heather Tom) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will meet up for a chat. When Brooke tries to unload her relationship drama, Katie will cut her off. She’ll insist that she has no interest in hearing about Brooke’s never-ending love saga.
Brooke will just have to handle her Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) issues on her own. She’s made her choice anyway. Bill may not give up without a fight, but Ridge is the one Brooke wants to be with. Katie will steer the conversation to Quinn (Rena Sofer) and they’ll debate just how crazy she is.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Katie will give Brooke updates on the encounters she’s shared with her not-so-friendly neighbor. Quinn views Katie as a romantic rival, so she isn’t happy about having her nearby. Big trouble could be brewing if Katie gets any closer to Eric (John McCook).
Katie will admit that she doesn’t see a new-and-improved Quinn looking at her. She’ll suggest Quinn always looks like she’s ready to strike. Brooke will agree that she doesn’t buy Quinn’s act. She’ll contend that Eric will see Quinn’s true colors eventually. Katie will fear that Quinn could do some serious damage in the meantime.
Elsewhere, Eric will hit Liam (Scott Clifton) with the harsh truth. We all know Eric is generally a nice guy, but he can be pushed too far. When Liam showed up ranting about Quinn and her evil grip, Eric decided he’d had enough. If Liam wants to call Eric out for his choices, that’s fine. He should just expect the same treatment in return.
Eric will imply that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) deserves better than Liam. He’ll think Wyatt (Darin Brooks) is only one who’s showed real devotion to her. Friday’s B&B preview video shows Eric snapping, “The only time you have any kind of a commitment to Steffy is when Hope is out of town and vice versa, let alone stringing Ivy along just for fun. It’s…it’s appalling!”
Many Bold and the Beautiful fans would back Eric up on this. Liam’s love life has been all over the place for years. He’s always chasing “the one” and tossing her aside once he catches her. Liam claims he wants to be with Steffy forever, but would he feel the same way if Hope showed up in Los Angeles? It’s tough to say.
Of course, Liam will be outraged by Eric’s analysis of his behavior. He’ll argue that Eric needs to save some of that criticism for his own wife. We’ll keep you posted as more news comes in.
