The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, July 6, tease that Katie (Heather Tom) will spiral out of control. She was doing a little better until she overheard Bill (Don Diamont) on the phone with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Katie will be furious that she let her guard down and received another low blow as a result.
B&B spoilers reveal that Bill will once again try to quiet Katie’s suspicions, but it’s no use this time. She’s reached her limit. Katie will decide to drink away her fears. Booze is the only thing that’s helped Katie cope lately. She told Brooke that alcohol allowed her to her drown out the voices in her head.
Katie’s instincts are telling her that something is going on between Brooke and Bill. She shouldn’t have to be tormented like this. Katie can’t be convinced that everything is fine in her marriage because it’s not. She’ll get confirmation on that soon enough.
Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that Liam (Scott Clifton) will try to talk some sense into Brooke. He already confronted Brooke about the affair and urged her to come clean, but she’ll have reservations. Liam will disregard Brooke’s concerns and reiterate that she owes Katie an explanation.
If Brooke and Bill hadn’t been sneaking around, then Katie wouldn’t be self-medicating with alcohol right now. In fact, there’s a chance that Katie’s latest addiction could play a major role in the storyline to come. Big trouble could be brewing for Katie and her family.
Katie has been drinking to silence her doubts, but she may drink to numb the pain after her marriage crumbles. If Katie is planning on taking Bill’s child and company away, her alcoholism could create a huge obstacle. Bill may try to use this as a way to keep custody of Will (Zane Achor).
Of course, that might be for the best if Katie is going to become B&B’s resident drunk. Unfortunately, that would just add to Katie’s sorrow and keep her in this dangerous cycle. A drunk-driving accident or something along those lines could be coming. We wouldn’t put it past Katie to attack Bill or Brooke in a drunken stupor either.
Nevertheless, Liam can’t see the future. He doesn’t know that this news will likely send Katie on a path of doom. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will give Brooke an opportunity to tell Katie the truth, but plans will change when Katie shows up on his doorstep.
In Thursday’s episode, Liam will determine that Katie is in bad shape. She’ll beg Liam to tell her what he knows. Katie will realize that Liam’s updates could shatter her life, but she won’t care. If Liam confirms what Katie suspects, at least she can stop feeling so stuck. She’s been caught between Bill and Brooke for what seems like forever.
For Brooke and Katie, it’s been a never-ending battle for Bill’s heart. After years of putting up with this, Katie may choose to throw in the towel. Then again, Katie is one tough cookie.
