“The Bold and the Beautiful” (B&B) spoilers for next week’s episodes of May 9-13 tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will take a stand against Thomas (Pierson Fode). Katie (Heather Tom) may have forced Ridge to admit the truth, but that doesn’t mean he’s just going to hand Douglas over.
In Ridge’s mind, this revelation changes absolutely nothing.
Ridge will insist that Thomas should stick to being Douglas’ brother. B&B’s weekly spoilers preview video shows Ridge stating, “Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and I are the only parents that Douglas would know.” Thomas will rant about Douglas being his son.
He’ll feel like he has a right to take on a bigger role in his child’s life.
Ridge will probably counter that Thomas took advantage of Caroline. Plus, Ridge believes that Thomas is far too immature and impulsive to be a dad. Unfortunately, Thomas will manage to prove Ridge’s point.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers indicate that Thomas will swipe Douglas and strap him in the car for a road trip.
Thomas will declare that Douglas his son, not Ridge’s. It’s clear that Thomas is mainly making a play for retaliation.
Kidnapping a baby obviously isn’t the brightest move. It’s only going to make Thomas look like an unfit father. If this ends up going to court, it could be a strike against him. B&B has worked hard to redeem Thomas, but they’re kind of throwing it out the window at the moment.
Caroline might even turn against Thomas when she finds out what he’s done. Ridge could be a strong influence on Caroline’s opinion as well. Regardless of what the truth may be, Ridge could put pressure on Caroline to say that Thomas raped her. Caroline might go along with the idea to protect her baby from Thomas and the risk he brings.
Of course, we have to make sure Thomas and Douglas make it home in one piece first. There’s always the possibility that Thomas could engage in some reckless driving due to his emotional state. A car crash isn’t out of the question.
However, Thomas might be on his way to get a paternity test and secure his rights as Douglas’ father. Back at Forrester Creations, Caroline will panic and Ridge will lash out at Katie for causing such chaos. It sounds like an exciting week is coming up.
