‘The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey’ Promo Released: New Experts Try To Solve Horrible Child Murder – Premieres September 18

‘The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey’ promo has been released by CBS. The six-hour docuseries will follow the original investigators as they work with new experts in an effort to solve the 20-year-old murder case.

The new experts include former New Scotland Yard criminal behavioral analyst Laura Richards, retired FBI supervisory special agent, and statement analysis Stan Burke. The press release from CBS reveals, “The scope of the highly skilled team’s investigation includes re-examining crucial evidence using advanced technology and forensic, meticulously recreated the crime scene by rebuilding full-scale replicas of key rooms from the Ramsey house, conducting extensive interviews and introducing new theories.”

In the promo for ‘The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey’, a member of the original team of investigators believes James Fitzgerald, a former FBI profiler now a forensic linguistics profiler. In the trailer for the docuseries Fitzgerald states, “This little girl’s homicide, to this date, has been unresolved. In my opinion, we can change that right now.”

Fitzgerald, in reviewing the ransom note, reveals that it is unlike any ransom note he has ever seen. Stan Burke, a statement analyst, explains, “Out of 370 words? 76% is extraneous. They’re trying to sell this now, it’s a sales job.”

The 911 operator who received the frantic call from the Ramsey home on Christmas morning 1990 reveals she was never called to testify before the grand jury. “For 20 years, nobody asked me. I think it would have really turned the case around,” the tearful woman explains.

The experts have rebuilt the Ramsey home in Boulder, Colorado in a 50,000-square-foot warehouse. Each floor has been recreated to exact specifications as the Ramsey home was in 1990 when JonBenet was murdered.

The new investigators collaborating with the original team are able to walk around each and every room on each and every floor and examine it as it was the day JonBenet died.

In ‘The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey’ promo, the investigators discover new evidence that may lead to the truth about what really happened the night the six-year-old beauty pageant winner was murdered.

The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey’ airs on CBS in three parts. The docuseries first two hours will air on Sunday, September 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The docuseries second two hours will air the next night, Monday, September 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The conclusion of the docuseries will air on Sunday, September 25 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
