Alice has decided to team up with Agent Jules Dao on tonight’s episode of “The Catch” however she doesn’t want anyone at Anderson Vaughan and Associates to know about it.

Alice’s friends and coworkers didn’t want her to get caught up with what Christopher was doing because they wanted her to be able to move on. Rather than remain in the past. Yet, Alice told herself that the man she had known as “Christopher” deserved to be jail and her look at him last week proved that she needed to act fast. She had seen the conman with his next mark and she didn’t want Princess Zara Al-Salim to suffer like she did.

Only Zara isn’t exactly a damsel in distress. The princess had gotten used to American living and so she had grown accustomed decisions by herself as well being in charge of her own money. So she hadn’t liked the fact her royal brothers were flying out to see what happened to Qasim and she had asked Ben if he could help her cash in her money. And then just disappear without anyone knowing about it.

So Ben, who hadn’t taken advantage of her trust yet, had actually thought about the princess’s offer. He had considered helping the princess and funnily enough Margot had thought he was being too sentimental. She said that they should just rob the princess of as much as they could get and go. However, an unexpected visitor changed their plans.

Ben and Margot had found a woman with a gun in their hotel room. So they knew their creditors were looking for them and the only thing they could bargain with was 1.5 million dollars. And so they agreed to hand over that money in order to buy themselves more time, but their sudden time crunch had helped them make a decision about the princess.

The princess wanted freedom and they wanted the princess’s money. So they came up with a plan that would give them all something they wanted. And if they came up with a fake charity and if the princess donated a large chunk of her money to an organization set on fighting for universal equality, then her family’ would disown her while every other country on the planet would offer her asylum.

But there appeared to be one problem with their plan – Alice. Alice had introduced herself to the princess as the president of the World Wide Women Foundation and so she had deliberately put herself in the way of Ben carrying out his plan. And in focusing on him, she had missed out on the crucial findings in her firm’s latest case.

The firm had taken on a missing persons case. The CEO of Olympic Edge had come to them asking for their help in finding one of the most brilliant minds at his company. He said Gwen Ericsson had never missed a deadline however the young woman had missed the latest one that was supposed to be all about her latest invention. So the CEO had gone to private investigators over the police because Gwen’s work was top secret.

So much so that the firm hadn’t even heard what she had been working on until they signed the nondisclosure agreement. But this thing that Gwen was working on was called THRUsight. She had originally invented it in order to help first responders find survivors in the aftermath of a wreckage. Only THRUsight could be used for so much more.

THRUsight allows people to spot human flesh miles away through walls. So it could be used as a weapon and there could be a lot of people out there willing to steal if possible. And that’s exactly what Alice’s people thought happened when they found a body they had believed was Gwen’s. Though it wasn’t Gwen and they found out she was still alive when she tried to steal her laptop back.

Gwen apparently had faked her death because she found out her employer was trying to sell THRUsight to the highest bidder. So she had gone on the run and would have stayed on the run if it hadn’t been for Alice and her friends. Who were unfortunately under contract obligations of their own.

The firm had signed a contract that stated they had to hand over the laptop. So they did after Gwen corrupted some of the data and they later called in Agent Dao to take part in their sting. It seems they had given back the laptop in order to buy it back on the black market. And that way allowed them to catch Olympic Edge in the act of negotiating with terrorist.

And as for Gwen, to make sure she wouldn’t be used, the firm had kept up the story about her dying. With research disappearing in the wake of her death.

But the princess’s brother had showed up and so she had to sneak the money to Ben. Only Ben didn’t want to take the money. He had come to like and respect the princess. So odds are he didn’t even try to cash in the check because he had lied when he told Margot that her brother had frozen her bank account.

And Margot believing him, they were supposed to be looking for their next con when Ben again chose to diverge from the plan. Ben agreed to meet up with Alice later and the two talked about what had happened between them. Yet, Ben had ultimately convinced her that he had loved her and he proved that their relationship meant something more when he handed her Zara’s check. The one for fifteen million dollars.

So Alice then helped him get away before Agent Dao could arrest him.

THE END!
