Callie’s relationship with Justina is beginning to backfire on tonight’s episode of “The Fosters”.
Apparently the older woman had Callie committing herself to things that she hadn’t actually thought through. Like some bill on foster care that Callie didn’t even know the specifics of yet had a shot a commercial for that neither of her parents had known about. But Callie didn’t seem to appreciate her parents’ questions because, unlike her, they have questions.
And Stef for one demanded answers. Stef wanted to know what this bill on reorganizing foster care was about and more importantly she wanted to see Callie question things as well. Stef hadn’t wanted her daughter to stand for things that could potentially backfire and may even hurt Callie in the long run. So Stef and Lena ultimately made a decision about Callie’s involvement that the teenager felt was overkill.
The parents had told Justina that they would only allow Callie’s involvement/ endorsement if they were to receive the bill beforehand in order to read it in full. And while Callie thought that had been pretty drastic of them, it was suspicious when Justina ended up doing everything in her power to delay handing over the bill.
So Callie later had to hear from Rita what Justina was actually doing with both her name and her organization ‘Fost & Found’.
Justina it seems had lied about everything she had told Callie. And it turns out she was a big supporter of privatized homes which is why she was allocating fifty percent of funding that would normally go into foster care – into privatized homes. So Callie had to hear that Justina stood for everything that Callie was personally against.
Though, for once, Callie wasn’t the only one that had done something reckless. Jesus had also crossed a line on tonight’s episode of “The Fosters” when he went to go see Gabriel despite knowing what he is. So Mariana was forced to tell their parents in order to ensure that Jesus didn’t see Gabriel again.
And, yes, Stef and Lena were upset when Mariana had told them what Jesus had done. However, their chief concern had been the twins’ safety and that was something they couldn’t guarantee with Gabriel around. So the parents told the twins that neither of them were allowed to have contact with Gabriel ever again.
But Jesus somehow found a reason to blame Mariana for the way their parents reacted. It seems that he had told her that his “visit” with their biological father was just for him to end things permanently with the older man who he swore disgusted him. And that’s why he didn’t think it was such a big thing for either Mariana or their parents to worry about.
Only Jesus didn’t just end things with being mad at Mariana. He later went on a double date with her, Nick, and Lexi. And Jesus managed to ruin things for everyone.
First, he began to relentless taunt Mariana about losing the presidency to Lexi who he ended up calling more popular than his own sister. Then, right when Nick and Mariana appeared to be getting along, he ruined that too by daring Nick into a street race. That only served to frighten the two teenage girls. So that’s when the ladies decided to call it a night and find their own way home.
Yet, something good did manage to come out of that date. Mariana and Lexi eventually began talking to each other again and finally got a few things off their chest.
Stef on the other hand was prepared to hold a grudge against Ty for what he did until Callie told her that Ty shouldn’t be treated as disposable. Apparently Ty had never gotten a fair shake in his life and Callie for one thought that he finally deserved to be given a chance. So Stef ended up going down to the courthouse and in front of AJ, Mike, and even Callie – she told the judge that Ty needed another chance.
And in doing so, Stef convinced the judge to lessen the charges against Ty. Meaning he will only have to serve 18 months in what could have been five to ten.
However, Stef didn’t stop at helping Ty. She had also looked into the case against Mariana and Jesus’s biological father and it seems that Gabe wasn’t such a bad guy. Instead he had just been an 18-year-old pot dealer when he had been dating a 15-year-old Anna.
And it had been Ana’s parents to turn him in. So Jesus came to believe that he had the whole story and he had then went looking for Gabe, but Gabe didn’t want anything to do with him.
Gabe said that he was not Jesus’s father and made it known that he didn’t want a relationship.
And as for Brandon, he had tried to date the woman of his dreams when suddenly her ex showed up and practically dropped their son off in her lap. So Brandon then tried to impress Cortney by offering to babysit her son, but he probably embarrassed himself more than he could have impressed her with that one. Although Cortney did say she liked him for merely making an effort so Brandon still has a chance with her.
And it’s a chance that he could ruin once he finds out that Callie and AJ are together!
THE END!
