Jude was finally going to visit his long-distance boyfriend Connor on tonight’s all new episode of “The Fosters”.
Apparently Connor’s school was having its homecoming weekend and so he wanted Jude to be there because he’s been missing him since he went to go move in with his mother. But here’s the thing. Homecoming ended up interfering with Jude’s siblings’ birthday party so Jude had to get Mariana and Jesus’s blessing before he felt comfortable with actually going and, then once he did get their blessing, he still had a few questions for his older brother Jesus.
Like has he ever had sex? Connor it seems had sent Jude’s a certain picture of his anatomy and Jude was wondering if that meant Connor wanted something “more” for when they ran into each other and, if so, what he was going to do about it. Especially as he no one he knows that he can ask about sex between two guys.
So Jesus tried to give Jude some sound advice by telling him to watch porn first. Porn had seemingly taught Jesus what he was supposed to do and he figured it would help Jude as well. And he also told Jude to put a sock on the door so that no one would disturb him.
Yet, Jude found the porn itself more disturbing than being caught. And he could barely make it through one video before he slammed his laptop and tried to pretend he hadn’t seen that.
So ultimately Jude asked his parents if they could get refund for the train ticket because barely watching a video had made him feel like he wasn’t ready for whatever Connor had applied with the video. Jesus though had no regrets about his advice to his brother and he had quickly moved on to the details regarding the birthday party he had to share with his twin sister.
Safe to say, the twins both wanted something different towards the party so Nick had to step in and offered an alternative. Which was using the warehouse that Brandon was going to use for the play because the spacious area would allow for Jesus to have his skating rink on the lower level while his sister got to have dance party up on the balcony. So that seemed to please both Mariana and Jesus but Brandon had come conditions.
He asked that both parties be careful around the sets that were already in the warehouse and, while he didn’t say it out loud, he also didn’t want there to be a lot of people in warehouse. Therefore, he later talked to Callie about who they were going to invite because he had wondered if it would be strange if he had Cortney at the party and she had AJ. But Callie didn’t think their potential invitees were going to be a big deal so they both pretended like their moving on hadn’t been awkward at all.
Although the party did end up being awkward. Mariana had invited Sally, her friend from the Student Honor Board, to the party but Lena hadn’t wanted to be that close to Sally after the allegation. You know the one she had made last week when she said that Monte had kissed her.
Well, Monte had countered that claim and said that Sally had actually been the initiator and that the young woman had been embarrassed when Monte had turned her down. Which is what she was supposed to do seeing as Sally was one of her students. Only Monte herself had messed up by not reporting the kiss in the first place.
If she had, then that would have been on record and Sally’s parents wouldn’t being trying to get the principle fired for misconduct. Though the parents were both very clear when they said they didn’t want their daughter testifying in front any board to say what Monte had done. Apparently they just wanted Monte fired without a fair hearing and they also their daughter’s involvement in Monte’s situation to be swept under the rug.
Almost as if it would embarrass them if anyone were to find out that Sally had been kissed by a woman, but later at the party, Lena noticed that Sally hadn’t been too afraid to dance pretty close with some of the other girls. Like she had been attracted to them. So Lena confronted her about her lie.
Lena had gone on to tell Sally that she should be ashamed of who she was and that her parents’ reaction shouldn’t play a part in lying about what really happened with Monte. It was Monte’s career on the line as well as her reputation. And so Lena told Sally to tell the truth.
Yet, there was one thing that neither Lena nor Stef had figured out. You see they thought that their twins had dropped the whole Gabe issue following their talk last week when the truth was Mariana had approached Ana about expunging Gabe’s record. It appears that Mariana had wanted to give Jesus the same chance in knowing his biological parent as she got to have with Ana so she had spoken with both Ana and her grandparents on writing to whoever they had to get Gabe off the sex offender’s list.
And her grandmother had mentioned that maybe Gabe didn’t want their help. So, following her conversation with her grandmother, Mariana and Ana had gone over to Gabe’s place together and they asked him if it was ok to help in whatever capacity they could. But, apparently, he needed time to think so Mariana went to go the party and Ana stayed behind to talk him.
So Lena and Stef had found out what happened until Ana had showed up at the party – high on something – and accusing her own parents as well as Stef and Lena for ruining her life. It seems it was the twins’ grandparent’s fault for getting Gabe arrested all those years ago because that meant Ana couldn’t get to be a family with her kids and Gabe. And Stef and Lena had allegedly ruined Ana’s life when they took said babies away from her.
Though, in all honesty, it had been the courts that did that. Not Stef and Lena. Who were being pretty good on trying to be supportive of an out of control Ana. So it had been Stef that had made sure Ana had gotten home safe.
And speaking of home, both Brandon and Callie had left the party earlier because they wanted to make it out with their respective boyfriend and girlfriend. Yet no one wanted to pick up from where they left after Callie and Brandon found out the other was at the house because it turns out that hadn’t really moved on. They have merely pretending to have moved on, but utterly failing at it. Thus both AJ and Cortney had sensed the tension.
Only Cortney had gone with the flow when Brandon had told her that Callie was his ex and AJ had actually gotten upset. In fact, he said that running into Brandon had made him feel like Callie had been cheating on Brandon with him. And that he hadn’t liked that feeling.
So, whether that was his intention or not, Aj had pressed pause on his relationship with Callie. And Jude had sort of done the same with Connor.
As it happens the long-distance hadn’t been working for him and he wasn’t sure if he and Connor were even friends anymore. So their relationship might just be over for good and it would have been the dick pic’s fault. Apparently the picture had got Jude to thinking about whether the relationship was heading.
And though it had been a trying night for some, the family came together to wish both Mariana and Jesus a happy birthday.
Which included a few gifts that Gabe had left for them in front of their house.
THE END!
