Jacqueline catches up on facelifts and finances with her close friends Dolores and Siggy, and later hosts a holiday cocktail party where she shares a secret message that she is surprised to receive. Finally, after nearly a year in prison, Teresa returns home to her family just in time for Christmas.”

On the season premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Melissa is preparing for the opening of her boutique “Envy”. She says “I want my kids to look att me with the same respect that they have when they look at their father. It is also nice to have something that I did without my husband, well except having him build it.”
Jacqueline and her husband are at home when Delores comes over to hang out. Jacqueline says “I met Delores through my sister in law Caroline. She is a very nice person but don’t piss her off. She is a lot like Teresa.” The ladies leave Jacqueline’s husband at home with the kids while they go out for awhile.
Melissa and joe are still hard at work on getting her boutique ready to open. Melissa says “Joe did not give me one dime toward the opening of Envy. I went up and found an investor to help me.” Joe says “I don’t want my wife to work. I want her at home. When I get home I expect a hot meal on the table. I am like a tiger.”
Jacqueline and Delores meet up with new housewife Siggy. Siggy is all bandaged up. Jacqueline asks “What happened to you?’ Siggy tells her “I had plastic surgery.” All of the ladies laugh and Delores tells her “It is always better than it looks. i can see the shape.” Jacquline explains “I met Siggy when she was at her lowest point. She was just getting a divorce from her husband and moving into her new fiance’s house, but that didn’t work out either. Now she has met a really great man and is l .” thDarlene tells Siggy “While you were having plastic surgery Jacqueline was lifting me up in another way.” She goes on to explain about her divorce and moving out of her husband’s house. Jacquline tells her “You need to make the house your own, not the place where you raised your kids with your husband.”
Melissa, Joe, and his parents are out watching the kids football game. Melissa says “I envy Teresa her relationship with her father. My father died when i was ten years old. I love spending time with my in-laws.” Joe says “I love my sister. She is supposed to be coming home in time for Christmas and i really hope that she wants to spend Christmas with us. When she left it was not on the best of terms so I hope she gets out we can make a new start.”
The Guidici house is being prepared for Christmas. Joe asks his daughter “Are you your mommy is coming home?” She says “Yes.” Joe talks about the changes that their family has gone through since everything happened. He tells Jacquline “We have seriously had to make some changes. I lost the business so we can no longer do the things we used to do. I had to take back all of the watches I had for myself and some of the things I bought her. This experience has taught me about the type of woman I am married to. I am so proud of her.”
Melissa and Teresa’s brother Joe are at home with the family. Joe tells her “I don’t like the fact that you are working so much. I want you at home with the family. You used to call me. Now every time you call me is about the boutique and wanting to fix something there.” Melissa says “Joe has old fashioned family values. i have to figure out a way to balance these values with being a modern woman. I am not sure it’s possible.” Joe says “I will wrap you up and put you under the tree as a present for me.”
Jacqueline and Chris are preparing for their annual Christmas party. Jacqueline “I got a note from Teresa.” Chris asks her “What does it say?” Jacquline shares the note with him and says “I think it’s funny that she starts the note off by it being about her, rather than asking how the family is.” Chris says “Do you miss her?” After taking a minute to think about it she says “No. not really.”
Melissa and joe find out that Teresa has been given permission to come to their for Christmas. Joe says “Hopefully we can have a better start this year than we did last year. We have all undergone a lot of changes this year. The biggest one being that I got my parents back. I hope that Teresa and Melissa can get along and things will be all right so that my parents don’t have to pick sides again. Melissa receives a note from Teresa. She laughs as she shares it with Joe. Melissa says “I am not going to her sprinkle cookies in the trash. I am going to eat them.”
Everyone heads to Jacquline and Chris’ for the holiday party. Melissa says “I am worried that the note from Teresa will send Jacquline into a tailspin. It is like an ex-boyfriend that you haven’t seen in awhile.”
Joe and Teresa’s father are discussing the rules of Teresa’s release. Her dad tells him “A couple hours after she gets here she will be fitted for an ankle monitor so that she can’t move around unsupervised and then eventually they will come and remove the monitor and she will have a lot more freedom. While they are talking their oldest daughter walks in and Joe tells her “You are going to school after you see your mom in the morning.” She tells him “No I’m not. Mom says i don’t have to. ” Teresa’s dad laughs and says “The boss is coming back home.” Joe says “Yeah, well you will all be going to school tomorrow.” Her dad leaves and Joe tells him “Bring my wife home safely.”
Teresa is waiting for them to come and pick her up. joe calls her brother and tells him “I had to go pick up the coffee that your wife requested. Hopefully, I will be arriving at the prison at about 5 o’clock and she will be walking out with me about ten minutes later. The paparazzi are here and it’s crazy. “
Teresa calls to talk to her husband. She tells him “It’s crazy out here. The paparazzi are everywhere. I’m hiding.” Joe tells her “Be safe and be careful.” When Teresa finally gets to the house she is so excited. Joe welcomes her home and she tells him “I missed my house.” The girls are over the moon to see her. The paparazzi are camped outside her house hoping to get a picture of her homecoming. She hugs and kisses her girls. Teresa says “I have dreamed about this for the past 11 months.” They ask “Mommy do I have to go to school?” She tells them “No.” Teresa says “I was naive, but I will never make that mistake again.”
