On the series premiere of Real Housewives of Potomac we are introduced to a whole new cast . There is Gizelle, who is now divorced from a pastor and has three kids. Gizelle marches to her own drummer and doesn’t care what others think of her.

Katie is dating a man named Andrew Martin whom she hopes will propose. She has three kids under 3 and is divorced and has been dating Andrew for a year. Katie is a socialite and a philanthropist. Katie wants to get married and Andrew wants to take things slow. She is worried about what her conservative family will think.

Robyn is in PR although she comes from a family of Drs. and Lawyers. Robyn has been divorced from an NBA player due to infidelity and even though they still live together and raise their kids together. Giselle comes by to see Robyn and asks her if Juan, Robyn’s ex, is seeing someone else. Robyn tells her that he isn’t and Gizelle tells her that he better not because he is still living in her house.

Karen is married to Ray who is a CEO of an IT company in Potomac. Karen grew up on the farm. Gizelle and Karen share cookies at Gizelle’s and they talk about Karen’s daughter Raven. Karen tells Gizelle about Raven preparing for prom and getting ready for college. Karen asks her about dating and Gizelle tells her that she likes dating more than one person. Karen admits that she was hoping that Gizelle and her ex would reunite.

Gizelle, Katie, Cherrise, and Robyn and Karen all go out to dinner to celebrate Karen’s birthday and the ladies order before Karen gets there. Cherrise comments on how tacky this is. Karen says that “Potomac rule number one is that when there is an event where she is being honored no one should sit in her seat.” Everyone is commenting on the fact that Cherrise’s husband, who is the head coach of the Washington Wizards, lives in New Jersey and is never in Potomac. Cherrise obviously does not want to talk about it.

Gizelle goes to Cherisse’s to help her cook the crabs for her Crab Boil. She shows up with her hair dresser and this does not make Cherisse happy.

Katie and Andrew are preparing to go to the Crab Boil. Katie comments on how good Andrew is with her kids, but she says what she likes best about him is how good he is with money.

Cherisse is upstairs getting her make up done in preparation for the party. Downstairs Gizelle is calling for Lorna because she doesn’t know where anything is and needs a pot to put the crabs in. Cherisse gets angrier when she hears not only Gizelle, but her friends calling for the maid to help them get things done and says that that is “how things are done in the projects, but not in Potomac.” Gizelle’s hairdresser asks if she needs help with her hair and Cherisse informs her that she “doesn’t need help from her with anything.”

People start arriving for the crab boil and Gizelle greets them because Cherisse is not downstairs. Gizelle talks to Karen and Cherisse’s friend Brynee. Karen confronts Gizelle and tells her that she was wrong to bring her stylist to Cherisse’s house and offer his help. She then tells her that she was wrong to sit in the center of her birthday party. Karen gives Gizelle a book on etiquette rules which deeply offends Gizelle. The confrontation continues between Karen and Gizelle. Karen accuses her of making things about her, and being ignorant.

THE END!
