The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Adam in Danger, Attempts Escape – Billy Remembers Accident – Dr Anderson Shocker

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 18 to January 22 promise a unique blend of new excitement and danger that will keep fans on the edge of their seats! Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is certain that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) is missing even though Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) won’t confirm it to her.

Chelsea enlists all possible sources of help including Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Chelsea pulling Dylan into this mess will set off a confrontation between her and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Looks like Sharon is not happy that Dylan accepted a job at the GCPD. Dylan’s new badge won’t stop him from coloring outside the lines – he has Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) hack Victor’s emails.

Interestingly, Victor will also want Kevin’s help in finding Adam. Kevin double dips to help everyone so he can find out what’s really going on with Adam. It’s not long before all of Genoa City knows Adam is missing.

The ransom email only specifies handing over “the girl” to get Adam back. Victor knee-jerks and is certain that it’s the Santoris who took Adam and the girl is Marisa Sierras (Sofia Pernas) so Victor corporate kidnaps Marisa using his personal security staff to make a trade.

However, it may not be Marisa who’s wanted. And if it is Marisa, could it be Marco Annicelli (Peter Bergman) rather than the Santoris who want her? “The girl” mentioned in the ransom email may, in fact, be hacker Natalie (Mara McCaffray) in all likelihood. That’s what Maria Copeland (Camryn Grimes) thinks.

She did take millions of dollars from sources unknown. Is Victor trying to hand over the wrong woman? Looks like it will be Dylan leading the charge to find Adam on Chelsea’s behalf. Kevin is already suspicious of what’s going on with Natalie.

Natalie took money from one source, let Kevin take cash from Victor and now claims her revolutionary idea for internet security isn’t panning out. Kevin wants to know who her other backers are. Looks like Kevin has to come clean to Victor about Natalie’s double dealings.

Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and will end up partnering with Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) since both are worried about Marisa’s fate. Chelsea and Victor will also end up in a tentative alliance since both have Adam as their top priority.

By the end of the week, Victor will want to talk face to face with Natalie and then decides to take matters into his own hands. Adam is also taking matters into his own hands. He tries to escape from where he’s been stashed but he’s been tied up, so it’s not going to be easy.

Is he still in Genoa City? How long before we see his kidnapper? Is it the Santoris? Ian Ward (Ray Wise)? Marco? Natalie’s other investors? Will Adam get himself loose before a rescue effort can find him? Will it be Natalie who helps locate the missing Newman or will Victor just hand her over?

We’ll see that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the rest of the Abbott clan are stunned by the kidnapping news, even while they’re at the hospital still hovering around Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who continues to recover.

Jack still blames himself for Billy’s condition – Jack thinks if he had given Billy the investment money, none of this would have happened. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) hopes that her husband comes out of his medical crisis intact.

As Billy comes out of the coma fog, he starts to recover some memories of his accident – will he remember that Noah was driving the car that struck him? Could Billy have even seen the driver from where he was lying all battered and beaten?

Billy improves and he and Victoria are getting closer again – she wants to know what he remembers about the accident. Looks like she’s ready for a fresh start with him. This accident may have been the best thing for Billy since it seems to have given him a reset button on life.

Nick has some suspicions about Dr Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush). He talks to Mariah who says her position on Dr A hasn’t changed – she thinks the chick is off. Nick is even more alarmed when Sharon says the doc has messed with her meds again, but Sharon is clueless to Dr A’s scheming.

Nick is beginning to put together that Dr Anderson is giving inconsistent advice and is telling Sharon one thing, him another, and Sage still another. When Dr Anderson chats he and Sage up at Crimson Lights, it sets Sage off and she tells Nick she thinks the doc has the hots for him.

Sage will tell Nick if he doesn’t figure out what the shady therapist is up to, she will. Nick decides to go at this head on and just asks Dr Anderson what her deal is and whether she has an obsession for him. Don’t let for Dr A to come clean just yet, but the walls are closing in on her.

Later in the week, Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) finds himself in an awkward situation with his son Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze). Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) tries to adjust to being an insta-mom, but her new stepson doesn’t want her – that leaves Stitch stuck in the middle.

All this and more on next week’s episodes. Don’t miss a moment then come back to CDL for detailed daily “The Young and The Restless” spoilers and news.
