“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for the Wednesday, March 9 episode tease that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be at odds over the adoption. Y&R spoilers readers know that Nick has been concerned about Sage getting her hopes up. He’s just not sure all of this will work out.
Unfortunately, Sage is picking up on Nick’s doubts and she considers them a sabotage scheme. When Sage demands the truth, Nick will claim he’s just trying to stay cautious. There are no guarantees that Shawn (Devon Martinez) will actually hand over her baby. It’s obvious that Sage has become obsessed with the idea of raising this kid.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Nick fears Sage is attempting to replace Christian, but she’ll argue that’s not the case. Y&R spoilers reveal that Nick will eventually come around and join in Sage’s excitement. Will their dreams be dashed? Time will tell, but Shawn apparently has a few reservations about the whole process.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) will track down Paul (Doug Davidson) and insist that Victor (Eric Braeden) belongs in the slammer. Wednesday’s preview video shows Jack declaring that Victor is out of control. He’ll indicate that Victor needs to be locked up again.
Of course, there’s not much Paul can do about that unless Victor tries to flee or he poses a real threat. Jack may want Victor behind bars, but he’ll likely have to wait for this to go to trial first. When that finally happens, will Victor get a guilty verdict? We probably shouldn’t be too worried about it.
Even if Victor is found guilty, he’ll undoubtedly work his magic through an appeal.
Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to explain his role in the plot against Victor. However, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) won’t buy what Billy is selling. She’ll suggest that Billy should be a better liar by now. He’s had years of practice. Later, Victoria will give Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) a piece of her mind as well.
Phyllis will defend her actions and she’ll back Billy up, too. Despite what everyone else seems to think, Phyllis feels they’re perfectly justified in taking Victor down. If that involved some deception, then that’s just the price they had to pay. Sadly, more ramifications are headed their way soon.
