The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 26, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will have several visitors as she recovers from a mild concussion. Billy (Jason Thompson) will still want to be with Phyllis, but she’ll maintain that she needs to fix her marriage. It seems Billy will just have to accept Phyllis’ decision.
Once Summer (Hunter King) arrives, Billy will depart. Summer will admit that Jack (Peter Bergman) took off, but she’ll think Phyllis might be able to make things right. Later, Paul (Doug Davidson) will ask Phyllis some questions about her tumble. She’ll explain the mishap, but Paul will hand over a domestic abuse hotline number anyway.
Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will just want Paul to drop his questions and leave Jack alone. She’ll hope that she can pick up the pieces of her life. At the athletic club, a reporter will want to hear Jack’s thoughts on the latest gossip around town. People are saying that Jack beat up Phyllis, but he’ll insist she was hurt in an accident.
Devon (Bryton James) will end up offering the reporter a bribe in an effort to give Jack some relief. Unfortunately, the plan will fail when the reporter airs Jack’s comments along with the bribery attempt. Devon will soon decide to purchase the GC Buzz so he can control the news.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will struggle under the weight of his current crisis. John’s (Jerry Douglas) ghost will appear to guide his son. He’ll urge Jack to forgive Billy, but he’ll be met with some resistance. John will point out that Jack’s done some things that had to be forgiven over the years. If John could let bygones be bygones, so can Jack.
Jack will ponder the notion until Billy shows up. The brothers will discuss Phyllis’ condition and address their issues. Billy will suggest that Jack needs to take his chance at happiness. Phyllis only wants Jack and Billy is willing to step back.
After Billy leaves, Jack will hear from Summer. She’ll want Jack to visit Phyllis and try to resolve some of their conflict. A short time later, Jack will see the story the GC Buzz aired. He’ll throw his laptop in a fit of rage. It looks like Jack is still too angry to forgive anyone.
Summer will inform Phyllis that Jack isn’t coming to see her. Phyllis will undoubtedly understand why. At Brash and Sassy, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will scold Jill (Jess Walton) for trying to manipulate her relationship with Travis (Michael Roark). She’ll indicate that a reunion with Billy is never going to happen.
At Victoria’s house, Victor (Eric Braeden) will have a chat with Travis. He’ll learn that Jill tried to break them up with a job offer. Victor will think Jill always has something up her sleeve. It’s best to be wary of her proposals. When Victoria comes home, she’ll worry that Victor is there to meddle. He’ll insist that Travis is a better option than Billy, so he approves.
Elsewhere, Victor will bump into Jill and poke fun at her lame scheming. He’ll hint that Jill won’t succeed in luring Travis away. Jill will suspect that Victor has plans to hire Travis at Newman Enterprises. Victor will state that it’s not a bad idea.
Back at Victoria’s place, Billy will stop by to tuck the kids in. He’ll give Victoria an apology for his behavior the other night. Billy will support Travis’ decision to move in with Victoria and the children. Once they’re alone, Victoria will gripe to Travis about her ex. She’ll believe this is just Billy’s usual routine.
Billy tends to destroy his life and rebuild it just to tear it down again. Victoria won’t trust that Billy’s new-and-improved attitude will stick. Stay tuned for updates on Billy and the path he’s taking.
