The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that another calamity is on the way for Newman Enterprises. The company just can’t catch a break. Of course, there’s a chance Victor (Eric Braeden) or even Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) may be playing a role in all of these disasters. Whatever the case, it’s not good for Newman to be in a constant state of crisis.
Summer (Hunter King) will freak out when she discovers the latest blow. This should really shake things up around the office. Luca will likely downplay it and assure Summer that they can handle the matter without Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) help. He’s determined to show off and gain the upper hand. Luca is doing everything he can to get what he wants.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer won’t think they should leave Victoria out of the loop. She’ll yell that they’re going to lose a fortune. Newman needs its CEO to take care of this ASAP. It looks like Luca and Summer’s disagreement could lead to more trouble than usual. Summer may finally start to see what her boyfriend is up to.
When Victoria gets updates on the latest news, she’ll also fly into a frenzy. Summer will have some questions about Luca’s agenda once this chaos calms down. She’ll wonder if Luca cares about her or the company as much as he says he does. Luca definitely seems to be all about climbing the corporate ladder. He doesn’t care who he has to step on to get to the top.
Nevertheless, Y&R spoilers tease that Summer’s doubts could cause Luca to have a few of his own. It’s obvious that Luca got involved with Summer because of his plot at Newman. Luca was just using Summer at first, but that scheme is beginning to shift.
He’ll soon realize that Summer has captured his heart and that could prompt a new game plan. Luca’s next goal could be keeping Summer after his scheming is exposed.
Summer is probably naïve enough to buy any excuse or apology Luca dishes out. That’s just how Summer rolls. Then again, we know that Summer has been dropped down to recurring. If The Young and the Restless doesn’t intend on featuring this romance much in the coming months, they might break them up. That would free Luca up to move on with somebody else.
Summer and Luca are a pretty nice pair though. They have decent chemistry and they seem to be a good fit in spite of the problems they’re facing. Maybe Luca and Summer could both end up fading to the background like Noah (Robert Adamson) and Marisa (Sofia Pernas). An off-screen romance might be the way to go.
Luca could continue to be involved in business storylines on his own. It should be interesting to see what’s ahead for Summer and Luca. Can they weather the storm or has Luca set himself up for failure?
