The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will impact the anticipated Sully reveal in a dramatically unexpected way. Sharon (Sharon Case) will help this inmate escape from Stoneville, thinking that act will help protect her life of lies. But, then Patty will kidnap Sully and hold him hostage.
The Young and the Restless spoilers fans know that danger lies just ahead whenever Patty returns to the scene. In this instance, a series of phone calls made to Sharon’s home reintroduced one of the great actors in daytime.
Scores of Y&R viewers regularly cheer Haiduk’s work because it is consistently outstanding. Her electric bursts of brilliant acting serve to remind fans how great the soap opera genre was, is and can be.
So, Sharon confronted this previously unknown phone caller on last week’s Young and the Restless episodes. Patty’s cordless meow confirmed that she was aware of Dr. Sandra Anderson’s (Elizabeth Bogush) scheme and that Sully wasn’t Sharon’s child. An in-person visit to the facility where Patty has been held since she murdered Miss Malpractice was immediately scheduled.
At least Sharon can be thankful that she was given an option upon her arrival. Patty correctly pointed out that she’s remained silent about Sharon’s faux pregnancy, hadn’t said a word to her nephew Dylan (Steve Burton) and didn’t tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) the truth. However, in return for her continued silence, Sharon was asked to become an escape accomplice.
Kudos to Y&R’s staff for offering Patty’s artistic angle within this arc. Her first unseen portrait enabled Sharon to gain the stolen cell phone that was used to make contact. Viewers were shown the second image Patty created. Her hoped-for freedom was telegraphed via a memorable oil-based painting.
Earlier on Y&R this year Sharon took Mariah (Camryn Grimes) into her confidence. Her daughter was told that she had to hold this incredible baby secret in order to maintain their family. While that pressured request was amoral, at least Sharon shared this vexing situation with a trusted party.
Mariah will be a key partner in helping her mother pull off Patty’s escape. But, the owner of Miss Kitty is infamously erratic. Y&R spoilers warn of a dramatic plot twist that will take place after she gains her unauthorized release. Then, Patty will kidnap Sully.
As this electric storyline plays out, Dylan, Nick, and the rest of this fictional world will learn Sully’s true identity. Yet, when his perceived father (Nick) has a powerfully emotional reunion with him, Nick won’t realize that his other brother (Adam, formerly played by Justin Hartley) owns Christian’s genetic rights.
