The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday’s episode, September 1, tease that some serious action is on the way. The CBS soap’s 11,000th episode is finally here and it’s definitely worth tuning in for. We’ll see many characters get caught in tricky situations.
At the cabin, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will insist on taking Connor (Gunner and Ryder Scott) to a doctor without Adam (Justin Hartley). If Chelsea can’t avoid capture, she can reunite with Adam later. Adam will agree and they’ll share a kiss goodbye.
At the police station, Dylan (Steve Burton) will hold a press conference as he works to find Chelsea and Connor. Chelsea will hear the Amber Alert in the car. She’ll definitely be worried about someone spotting the vehicle.
At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will complain about Dylan’s search. Sharon will suggest that Dylan felt like it was the right thing to do. When Dylan appears, Nick will blast him for leading this hunt.
Dylan will face some tough questions. What happens if Chelsea and Adam both get caught? Who will raise their son? Nick will wonder if Dylan has really considered this. Dylan will contend that Victor (Eric Braeden) could take Connor.
Nick will answer his phone and hear a frantic Chelsea on the other end. She’ll request Nick’s help and he’ll gladly give it to her. In a hotel room, Nick will express gratitude to the doctor who treated Connor. The doc will agree to stay tight-lipped.
Nick will drive Chelsea and Connor back to the cabin. At home, Dylan will get updates on a sighting of Chelsea’s car. Meanwhile, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will stun Adam by shooting him with a tranquilizer dart. She’ll admit that she was in cahoots with Victor to frame Adam for Constance’s (Sally Kellerman) murder.
Chloe will indicate that she’ll never forgive Adam for Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death. She’ll suggest that there was no way she was going to let Adam run away from his punishment. The tranquilizer will quickly affect Adam. He’ll groggily ask what else Chloe has in store. She’ll declare that she wants to watch Adam die. Adam will eventually lose consciousness.
Later, Y&R spoilers say Nick will arrive at the cabin with Chelsea and Connor. Chelsea will get out of the vehicle and dash toward the cabin. Suddenly, an explosion will leave them with a fiery scene. Nick will yell out for Chelsea as flames engulf the building.
At Victor’s place, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) will make an offer. They’ll want Victor to lead them to Adam and his family. In exchange, Chelsea won’t be charged. They won’t be able to convince Victor to make a deal, so they’ll just give up and leave.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Neil (Kristoff St. John) will finally get some answers from his mother. At the assisted living facility, Lucinda (Nichelle Nichols) will want a chance to explain why she abandoned Neil. He won’t want to hear it at first, but Lucinda will urge him to hear her out.
Lucinda will confess that she was an alcoholic (as CDL exclusively reported a week ago) and she felt like giving Neil up was for the best. She couldn’t give Neil the life he needed and it wouldn’t have been safe with her around. Lucinda will suggest that she wanted to reconnect after she cleaned up her act, but Neil wasn’t open to it.
Neil will break down in tears when he realizes the truth. He’ll admit he was an alcoholic as well, so he gets it. Neil will tell his mother that he forgives her. Lucinda will be proud of everything her son has accomplished. They’ll share a tender moment and Lucinda will ask Neil to stick around.
At the penthouse, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) will urge Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to be cautious when it comes to Chloe. They’ll chat as they drink a couple of beers. Kevin will think he knows Chloe better than everyone else. He’ll imply that there’s nothing to worry about.
