The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Dylan Forces Drunk Nikki to Move in With Him – Sharon and Nikki Go to War

“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that a war is about to break out on next week’s episodes in the formerly peaceful home of Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) and it’s all about his mom Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and her battle with the bottle.

Although Nikki told sober buddy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she avoided any trouble when she staggered intoxicated into traffic, looks like there was a police report after all and Dylan saw it at the GCPD.

We’ll see Dylan come knocking on his mother’s door at the Genoa City Athletic Club wanting answers about what’s going on with her. When Nikki refuses to come to the door, Dylan gets more aggressive and threatens to get the key from security.

Dylan wants to know what she’s hiding. Nikki is probably boozy despite Jack emptying her mini-bar. Alcoholics always find a way if they really want to drink. When Nikki reluctantly lets Dylan in, she’ll make excuses, but he can’t stand to see his mom this way.

Y&R spoilers say that Dylan will insist that his mother pack up and come home with him but she doesn’t want to. Dylan, however, will NOT take no for an answer. But Dylan has NO idea what he’s in for and no clue the depth of the dislike between his mother and his wife.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is normally pretty mild-mannered (aside from occasional fits of insanity) but when it comes to Nikki, the gloves are off. Dylan will be shocked by the rancor between the two women he loves most and how they treat one another.

The idea behind bringing Nikki home with him was to help her stay sober, but if Sharon and Nikki can’t stop antagonizing each other, looks like she’ll be driven to drink. Nikki is in a bad spot. She doesn’t want to be at the Newman house without Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Plus, Victor refused to see her when she showed up to the prison. Nikki feels very alone in the world. But if she and Sharon can be civil, their home might be a good place for Nikki. She could chill out and spend quality time with her grandkids.

But whether a move to Casa McAvoy turns out to be good for Nikki or a major misstep remains to be seen. Just how nasty will Nikki and Sharon get? Will they dredge up wounds of the past to torment each other? Can either of them handle the animosity without snapping?

And if it comes down to it, and he’s forced to take sides, what will Dylan do? Take care of his alcoholic mom or mentally fragile wife? Either way, there’s a bumpy road ahead for Dylan as he tries to play hero for the women in his life.

What do you think Y&R fans? Can Nikki and Sharon live under the same roof without physically attacking each other? Will those two stick to verbal sparring or will they get physical with each other as they have done in the past?
