The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 29, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will do everything she can to avoid getting intimate with Jack (Peter Bergman). We all know what Jack was expecting on his birthday getaway, but Phyllis won’t be interested in dishing it out.
At the cabin, Jack will try to set the mood by presenting Phyllis with some sexy lingerie.
When that doesn’t work, Jack will bust out the strawberries and Champagne. He’ll really go all out, but Phyllis will find excuses to sidestep the passion. She’ll eventually get drunk and state that Jack is a much better person than she is.
Jack will leave Phyllis passed out on the sofa. Once he’s gone, Phyllis will breathe a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) will confront Travis (Michael Roark) about his motives for being with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He’ll feel like Travis is hiding something. Travis will contend that Victoria is on the verge of having something real. He’ll think Billy just can’t handle that.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will hurl Travis against the bar as the tension mounts. Once Victoria arrives, she’ll quickly intervene. After ordering Billy to go, Victoria will assure Travis that she trusts him. She’ll believe Billy is upset because she’s falling in love again.
At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will try to calm Adam (Justin Hartley) down. He’ll be fuming over Victor’s (Eric Braeden) setup, but Chelsea will think she can help. Later, Chelsea will meet with Ian Ward (Ray Wise) at the state pen. She’ll explain the plot for a bogus escape and hope that Ian will buy it.
When Ian expresses doubt, Chelsea will get weepy. Her emotional outburst will tug at Ian’s heartstrings. He’ll touch Chelsea’s hand tenderly and request a better suit for the trial. Chelsea will return to Adam and give him updates on the meeting.
She’ll feel confident that Ian will stick to the plan.
Y&R spoilers say Adam will share some news he received from Michael (Christian LeBlanc). There’s security footage of Victor’s accomplice, but they’ve only got 24 hours to track her down. It’s a longshot, but they have to try. Dylan (Steve Burton) will confirm that the woman signed in as Dorothy Gale. No doubt Dorothy was off to see the Wizard, Victor Newman!
Later, Michael will show up at Newman Enterprises to chat with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Nick will insist that Victor isn’t responsible for Adam’s situation. He still won’t believe Victor framed Adam. Michael will contend that Adam is innocent. He’ll want Nick to help him out.
Kevin will suggest that it would be a good idea for the Newman brothers to team up.
Will Nick soon find himself on Adam’s side? We’ll have to wait and see, but Nick needs to realize that Victor is the true enemy here. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Adam will gain a supporter.
