‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jack’s Good Name Ruined, John Returns with Ghostly Guidance – Phyllis Still Scheming

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 26, tease that we’ll see several characters faced with tough choices. For starters, Jack (Peter Bergman) will have to decide how he’s going to deal with the latest scandal. Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) affair turned Jack’s life upside down and now her accident has put him on the hot seat.

Of course, Jack didn’t mean to cause Phyllis’ fall. He can’t stand to look at Phyllis right now, but he’d never want to do bodily harm. Ranting and some scuffles with Billy (Jason Thompson) have been the extent of Jack’s outbursts.

Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) seem to buy Jack’s version of events, but Billy still thinks Jack is to blame. Y&R spoilers say the GC Buzz will pick up the story and Jack’s stress level will skyrocket. He’ll be stunned when a reporter clues him in on the gossip around town. People will suggest that Jack beat Phyllis up and is guilty of domestic abuse and violence.

Jack feels like he’s lost his wife and his brother. Now the public is chipping away at Jack’s good name, too. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack will be at the end of his rope. He could really use some words of wisdom from someone he trusts.

We know that John (Jerry Douglas) will be making a ghostly return in Monday’s episode. It makes sense that Jack would need some guidance from his father right now. Jack doesn’t always take John’s advice, but it’s undoubtedly a comfort to hear his dad’s voice.

Unfortunately, the GC Buzz will continue to hound Jack and stick his name in every humiliating headline they can think of. Devon (Bryton James) will soon step in to stop the damage. He’ll begin bribing reporters in an effort to put the brakes on this media blitz.

Sadly, that move will backfire. Devon will end up being a press target thanks to the payoffs. He’ll have to do something drastic if he wants his friends and family to be left alone. Devon will eventually purchase the GC Buzz and let Hilary (Mishael Morgan) get started on her new business venture.

Elsewhere, Phyllis will have to make a decision about her love life. Just before Jack found out about the affair, Phyllis determined that she wanted to save her marriage. In light of the cheating news, that plan isn’t working out.

Billy will be more convinced than ever that Phyllis belongs with him. Will she cave in if Jack remains aloof? It’s possible. However, Phyllis is pretty stubborn and she may not give up on Jack without a real fight.

Across town, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) might as well be singing the chorus of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Jill (Jess Walton) just can’t accept that Billy and Victoria are done for good. Victoria will assure Jill that a reunion isn’t happening, but she may have to eat crow down the road.
