“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers reveal that on this week’s episodes Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) could soon find himself in big trouble. Luca thought he had his scheme all worked out. He’s keeping the details of the plot under wraps, but the overall goal is evident.
Luca hoped to grow closer to Summer (Hunter King) so he could take advantage of her connection to Victor (Eric Braeden) and bring Victoria (Amelia Heinle) down. Then, the door might be open for Luca to take the Newman throne one day. Unfortunately, an unexpected obstacle will emerge. Luca didn’t plan on falling in love.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that what started out as a ruse will bloom into true affection. It seems something about this naïve Newman has captured Luca’s heart. Y&R spoilers suggest that Luca will be in quite a bind. He won’t be sure how he’s going to sort this mess out.
Can Luca really have it all? Is it possible to gain the power he’s seeking and keep Summer, too? That’s a tough balance to achieve. Luca’s quest for Newman domination may leave him brokenhearted when Summer inevitably finds out about it.
Of course, there’s a chance that Luca will ditch the cutthroat business strategies in favor of finding some happiness. Luca lost Marisa (Sofia Pernas), but he still has a shot for a solid relationship with Summer. The only problem is that Luca may be in too deep. His secretive scheming will likely come back to haunt him in the near future.
That’s usually how it goes on “The Young and the Restless” anyway. Once someone finally decides to do the right thing, it all blows up in his or her face. It’s just too difficult to sweep sleazy actions under the rug.
Nevertheless, Luca and Summer might be able to ride the waves. Summer is known for forgiving people who probably don’t deserve it. She may find a way to justify Luca’s behavior just like she has with Victor. Will Summer and Luca retain their couple status? Stick with “The Young and the Restless” for updates on the tumultuous times ahead.

Of course we all know that Summer Newman is facing a much reduced role on Y&R now that Hunter King is demoted to recurring status and has thrown her future in with the CBS sitcom ‘Life In Pieces.’ This makes the likelihood of Summer and Luca developing into one of The Young and the Restless’ power couples almost nil. Far more probable is an ugly breakup between the pair coming soon!
