“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) will continue to be a thorn in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) side on next week’s episodes. Victor views Ian as a nuisance he’d like to avoid, but he should really start listening to him.
Ian claims he didn’t come after Victor with that near-fatal stabbing attack and we’re inclined to believe he’s telling the truth.
If Ian is indeed innocent, then who set up this attack? The Young and the Restless spoilers say it’s possible that Marco (Peter Bergman) had someone do it for vengeance. Marco’s criminal connections are spread far and wide. Mr. Annicelli was promised such a great life, but it was all stripped away.
He was sent back to prison with one ear and was supposedly killed a short time later. However, a death off screen is no death at all. There’s no guarantee at all that Marco is truly gone. He could be alive and ready for payback.
Many “Young and the Restless” fans would be less than thrilled about another Marco storyline. Fake Jack was fun at first, but the premise got old quickly. Bringing Marco back now would be like beating a dead horse, but sometimes that’s just the price we pay for loving our stories.
We’ll take what we’re given and if that means another round of Marco, then so be it.
The Santoris are a possibility to consider as well. After the way Victor treated them, they might think they have something to prove. The Santoris probably feel like Victor brought shame to Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and their entire family.
They’re not used to someone trying to push them around. Perhaps they pushed back once Victor was locked up. The Santoris could’ve ordered a hit from someone in the state pen.
Of course, there’s a chance that Victor was simply a victim of his own wealth and power. In the real world, it wouldn’t be unusual for someone like Victor to be targeted by the other inmates. Maybe someone heard about Victor’s success and tried to teach him a deadly lesson about equality in the slammer.
Regardless, Y&R spoilers predict that the threat could bring Ian and Victor together. Victor may not like Ian very much, but he might be his best shot at survival. Ian could provide protection and help Victor get revenge on his attacker.
If someone ruthless arranged it, Ian might have sources on the outside who could take care of the matter.
Ian may even pitch in on Victor’s upcoming plot against his family. Y&R viewers know that Victor doesn’t let go of a grudge. He’ll want several of the Newmans to suffer and he’ll find a way to make it happen. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” for updates on all of Victor’s devious plans.
So Y&R fans, who do you think was behind Victor’s attack? Will Ian help Victor figure it out and get vengeance? What about Victor’s family? Will Victor’s scheme mean bad news?
