“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for next week’s episodes tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will try to work through his grief. Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) death was a major blow and he’s really struggling to press on. Nick knows he has to find a way to keep moving, but it’s tough when such a huge part of his life is gone.
Fortunately, Nick will have one more chance to connect with Sage. She may be dead, but she’s still going to play a crucial role in the rest of this storyline. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that a box of Sage’s belongings will surface. Apparently, Sage was keeping several of her things elsewhere.
Y&R spoilers promise that Nick will dig through the box as tries to salvage what’s left of his wife. Perhaps Nick will hope to gain a sense of closure in the midst of all this. By unpacking the box, maybe Nick will think he can unpack some of his grief as well.
When Nick discovers Sage’s diary, he’ll decide to read it. Nick will want to savor every word that Sage wrote before her death.
As Nick turns page after page, he’ll find a stunning entry that could change everything. In Adam’s (Justin Hartley) letter, Sage confessed that she was aware of his DNA tampering. That means Sage has undoubtedly known the truth for a quite a while. Did Sage write down the details in her diary?
Could Nick learn that Christian actually belonged to Adam?
The paternity secret was probably weighing heavily on Sage’s mind over the last few months. She obviously didn’t want to tell Nick or any friends who could blab. Sage also didn’t want Adam to know that she found out about his interference. She must’ve felt like she had no one to talk to about this issue.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Sage opened up about in in her diary.
Depending on what Sage wrote, Nick may believe that Adam was unaware of Christian’s paternity. That could dramatically affect the situation if Sharon (Sharon Case) comes clean to Nick at some point. Then again, Nick might realize that Adam has known all along.
A little diary can create a lot of storyline potential. Y&R viewers will be waiting to see Nick’s reaction to the shocking news. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on the big bombshell.
