The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 13, tease that things will get pretty tense for Paul (Doug Davidson) and Patty (Stacy Haiduk). In her room at the facility, Paul will admire Patty’s paintings. She’ll offer one as a gift, but her mood will shift when Paul tries to show off pictures of Sully. Patty will have a meltdown and shout for Paul to get out.
Elsewhere, Y&R spoilers say Sharon (Sharon Case) will frantically call and text Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Paul will come out of Patty’s room while Mariah is in the security line. When Mariah finally gets her phone back, she’ll see the heads-up and turn away. Mariah will text Sharon that she managed to avoid being detected.
In the visiting area, Mariah will insist that Patty needs to keep her mouth shut. A lot of people could get hurt. Patty will argue that it gives Sharon an incentive to secure her freedom. Mariah will agree that Patty will get out of there. She just needs to score a transfer by revving up the craziness a bit.
Once Mariah is gone, Patty will do as she was instructed. She’ll start yelling and throwing her art supplies. At home, Sharon will bond with Nick (Joshua Morrow) after he builds a fire. He’ll talk about what a great life Sharon has with Dylan (Steve Burton) and Sully. It’s a dream that Nick was robbed of.
Mariah will return and speak with Sharon privately. She’ll state that she told Patty the plan, but she won’t be sure this will work. Sharon will still be emotional from her depressing discussion with Nick. When Nick comes downstairs, Sharon will start to make a confession. Mariah will change the subject to stop Sharon from spilling anything.
At Jabot, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will be sitting at Jack’s (Peter Bergman) computer when Summer (Hunter King) walks in. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack won’t be far behind. They’ll all wonder what’s up, but Phyllis will explain that she was dropping off files.
In her office, Phyllis will watch Jack type up a memo on her screen. Since she’s logged in his account, she’ll be able to see everything he’s doing. Meanwhile, Jack will urge Ashley to team up with Phyllis on a new marketing campaign. Ash won’t really be interested, but she’ll do it anyway. She’ll approach Phyllis so they can go over the details.
Later, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will get back to snooping. She’ll notice that Jack has been talking to a Newman Enterprises mole. When Jack sets a time and place to meet, Phyllis will take off after him. At the park, Jack will exchange briefcases with a businessman. Phyllis will watch their shady encounter in the distance.
Back at Jabot, Ashley will gaze at Jack’s computer and realize there are two users logged in. She’ll plan on confronting Phyllis ASAP. In the meantime, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will make a startling confession. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will try to talk to Abby about times when they were in a better place.
Abby will be forced to admit that their relationship has never been great. She’ll reveal that there aren’t real fireworks. Abby hasn’t had any moments with Stitch that stand out as exceptional. Bottom line, Abby can live without her husband. In fact, a breakup would probably result in a big sigh of relief.
The Young and the Restless buzz hints that a divorce may be imminent. Stitch will cling to his hopes, but his resolve could eventually fade. We’ll give you updates as more news comes in.
