The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Sage Committed, Tells Nick Stick to Plan – Dr. Anderson Opens Up About Her Past

“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 27, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will scold Sage (Kelly Sullivan) for getting herself arrested. Sage will confess that she didn’t exactly plan that part. Nick will admit that it might work in their favor. They’ll agree that Nick should continue his quest to get closer to Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush).

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, she’ll quiz Dylan (Steve Burton) about his thoughts on Sage. Dylan will let Sharon know that he’ll protect their family. Dylan will head to the police station and Dr. Anderson will arrive right after him. Dr. Anderson will insist that Sage needs to be committed to the psych ward at the hospital. Nick will sign the papers to get the process started.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Justin Hartley) will show up at the station. Adam will get updates on the plan to have Sage committed. He’ll immediately try to start a physical confrontation with Nick, but Dylan will intervene.

At Crimson Lights, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will be feeling good about the progress Max (Jared Breeze) is making. They had a fun time together while they were skating. When Max returns to the table with hot chocolate, he’ll announce that he wants to have a snowball fight. However, Max won’t want Abby involved.

Stitch will urge his son to apologize and he’ll suddenly get called to the hospital. Max will be hesitant when Abby wants him to see a movie with her. He’ll say he doesn’t need a babysitter. Abby will make it clear that Max is stuck with her.

At Jabot, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will get emotional as she opens up to Simon (Michael E. Knight) about her fears. She won’t want her family to have to go through the same pain they endured with Billy (Jason Thompson). Ashley will ask Simon to end her life if the treatment doesn’t work. Simon will be appalled and insist he’s only interested in helping people.

Ashley will have another round of treatment and she’ll dream of Stitch confessing his love. When she wakes up, Simon will ask Ashley if her feelings for Stitch are truly in the past. Abby will bring Max to the lab and Simon will take him on a tour.

While they’re busy, Abby will tell Ashley that’s she’s worried about her marriage. She won’t know how they can make this work if Max doesn’t come around. Ashley will insist that everything will turn out fine.

Abby and Stitch will find Max enjoying an experiment. After Abby leaves with Max, Simon will give Ashley some great news. Her test results say the treatment is working. Ashley will excitedly kiss Simon in a celebratory moment.

At the hospital, Sharon will hear that Sage has been committed. She’ll wish Nick good luck. Afterwards, Nick will go into Sage’s room and wonder if they’re doing the right thing. This scheme is getting them in pretty deep. Sage will remain on board and Nick will leave to have coffee with Dr. Anderson.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Adam and Chelsea will arrive to see Sage. She’ll explain that that Dr. Anderson is too blame for her problems. When Chelsea exits, Adam will start complaining about Nick. Sage will let Adam know that Nick is trying to protect her. However, Sage will appreciate Adam’s concern. Later, Adam will gripe to Chelsea that all of this is Nick’s fault.

At Crimson Lights, Dr. Anderson will tell Nick that she understands Sage’s point of view. There was a time when Dr. Anderson felt like she lost something she desperately wanted. Her dreams were dashed. Nick will wonder what Dr. Anderson means, but she’ll rush off without elaborating.

At the athletic club, Stitch will discuss how the tension is lifting with Max. Dylan will bring up the fact that Sharon is upset about him becoming a detective. He’ll worry that Sharon could go down a dark path. Stitch will offer reassurance.

A few moments later, Stitch will meet back up with Abby and he’ll realize she took Max to Jabot. Stitch will declare that he doesn’t trust Dr. Neville (Michael E Knight). He’ll think he needs to know about every decision that affects his son.

At home, Dylan and Sharon will talk about what’s going on with Sage and Nick. They’ll feel incredibly thankful to have Sully in their lives. Y&R viewers will be anxious to see if their family gets torn apart when Dr. Anderson’s evil acts are exposed. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Dylan and Sharon’s marriage can survive.
