“The Young And The Restless” spoilers tease that a break-up is in the near future for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton). Sharon and Steve’s relationship has definitely seen better days, and her connection with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is not helping Sharon. Their marriage clearly has a short shelf life, and the expiration date is rapidly approaching.
Last week on the CBS soap opera Dylan became jealous of the amount of time that Sharon and her ex-husband were spending together, and he made it clear that he didn’t like them being alone together. But, “Y&R” spoilers tease that Dylan’s jealousy and Sharon’s obvious feelings that she still has for Nick are really just the beginning of problems coming the couples’ way.
According to “The Young And The Restless” spoilers for this week, Sharon and Dylan wind up in another argument over Sharon’s son Noah Newman (Robert Adamson). As we all know, Noah’s fate is up in the air right now – and he is at the mercy of the Genoa City Police Department and court system – which happens to be where Dylan works.
Of course, Sharon wants Dylan to help Noah out, or even talk to his dad Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) – but Dylan refuses, and apparently is not going to let his new step-son cut any corners. Is it because he is trying to do the right thing? Or because he doesn’t want to do his half-brother Nick Newman any favors because of his and Sharon’s latest reconnection?
Basically, the “Y&R” writers are slowly setting up the Sharon and Dylan break-up that we all saw coming months ago. How long are Sharon and Dylan going to remain married when they learn that they don’t even have a child together, that Sharon lied about her miscarriage – and Sully is actually Christian – Adam and Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) child.
Let’s be honest – would there really be a Dylan and Sharon if there was never a baby Sully? If you are emotionally invested in Dylan and Sharon’s on-screen romance, it is probably time to start checking out, to save yourself the heartbreak.
