“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) could have more secrets that we thought. Y&R fans know that Sharon has been keeping important information from Nick (Joshua Morrow). Her precious Sully is really Christian. However, there’s a chance that Sharon is keeping another secret and this one could land Adam (Justin Hartley) in the slammer.
Let’s look at the facts. Sage (Kelly Sullivan) learned the truth from Nurse Stephens (Jill Lover) and immediately drove over to confront Sharon. Obviously, Sharon knew that Sage just found out. This is the kind of thing you address right away. After their confrontation, Sage headed off to tell Nick and was killed in a collision.
When you examine the timeline, there was absolutely no opportunity for journaling. Sage wouldn’t have been leisurely jotting down her inner thoughts in a diary. This was breaking news and she needed to tell Nick about his son as soon as possible. If Sharon knew Sage was in the dark prior to that day, why was she so fearful about what was in the journal?
Perhaps Sharon was afraid because she was one who made sure it was forged. If Victor (Eric Braeden) was aware of Christian’s paternity, there’s a possibility that he knew the baby was still alive and was in Sharon’s care. Victor always knows more than he lets on. All of that dirt comes in handy.
Let’s say Victor realized it was time to drop the bomb on Adam. He could’ve blackmailed Sharon into being his minion. Sharon may have ordered the forgery to keep Victor from blabbing. When Sharon went to tell Dylan (Steve Burton) the truth about Sully, maybe she was actually going to spill a little something extra.
Sharon could’ve planned on coming clean about everything, including any journal doctoring that took place. When Nick showed up demanding Adam’s arrest, Sharon may have changed her mind and decided to let Adam go down. After all, Adam stole Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and made Sharon think she was dead. Sharon isn’t hung up on revenge, but it still shows Adam isn’t exactly an upstanding citizen.
“The Young and the Restless” viewers have watched Sharon deal with total panic lately. She’s concerned about the Sully secret getting out, but there could be more to it than that. Even discussions about Adam’s case make Sharon unbelievably anxious.
If Sharon carried out Victor’s orders, she’s made everything worse for herself. Nevertheless, Sharon loves Sully and desperately wants to keep her family intact.
