“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 28, promise more intrigue and betrayal as rumors of grave wrongdoing come to pass. Check out our detailed recap of the show tomorrow below.
Victor (Eric Braeden) will argue with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) at Top of the Tower They’ll discuss the kidnapper and Victor will declare that he intends on finding out who took Adam (Justin Hartley). Victor will also let Jack know that he needs to forget about the current deal and steer clear of Adam.
In Victor’s office, Dylan (Steve Burton) will ask Natalie (Mara McCaffray) what she knows about the female investor. Natalie will play dumb and deny any knowledge of the kidnapper’s identity. Dylan will insist that Natalie had better come clean or she could go down, too.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will show up and start ranting about Natalie being a con artist. In a moment alone, Victoria will hint to Dylan that Natalie might be concealing something. A few moments later, Victor will walk in and suggest that Natalie has been helpful. He’ll let Victoria know that Billy (Jason Thompson) will not be a part of the deal.
At the police station, Dylan will chat with Kevin (Greg Rikaart) about potential kidnappers. They’ll consider the possibility that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) duped Victor. Dylan will mention that this scheme affected Adam and Victor.
Billy would’ve been on board with that, but he’s been stuck in the hospital. Besides, they know the investor was a woman. Dylan will suggest that they may have to trace this back to Switzerland.
At the hospital, Jack will ask Billy to return to Jabot as soon as he’s able. Jack will insist that he’s hoping Billy can help them rebuild. Later, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will have an outburst about her job. Jack will eventually approach Abby and ask her to rejoin the Abbotts’ company. Abby will inform Victor that she’ll be going back to Jabot, where she’ll be respected.
Back in Billy’s room, Phyllis will gloat about her plan. Billy will start having second thoughts, but Phyllis will urge him to press on. They’re both risk-takers and Billy needs to stay in this. Natalie will arrive to speak with Billy, but Victoria will interrupt. She’ll question what they’re all up to.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will also suspect that Adam is up to no good. When Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) arrives to see Adam, he’ll mention the plan they’re working on. Chelsea will start pumping them for information. Adam will let Chelsea know it’s nothing to worry about, but she won’t be convinced. She’ll leave to have a conversation with Marisa (Sofia Pernas).
Luca will give Adam updates on the info Marisa provided. Adam will be happy with the news. Everything is moving along on Luca’s end. Now Luca will believe Adam needs to keep his end of the bargain. Adam will point out that he was kidnapped and it stalled his efforts. Adam will say he wants to make his one shot count. Luca will think Adam’s right; he has to have something solid to bring Victor down.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Noah (Robert Adamson) will throw a tantrum about Victor taking Marisa. However, Marisa will assure Noah that Victor will get what’s coming to him. Noah will ask if Marisa means the Santoris are plotting against Victor. Marisa will admit that it’s a threat from the inside.
Chelsea will arrive to speak with Marisa privately. When Chelsea asks what’s up with Luca and Adam, Marisa will confess that they’re planning on taking down their fathers. Chelsea will be angry with Adam for forming another risky scheme. Later, Noah will tell Luca that he knows about the plan and he wants in.
Back at home, Chelsea will find Adam talking to Victor. Chelsea will make some snarky comments and Victor will depart. Chelsea will let Adam know that Marisa told her everything. Adam will insist that it’s not what Chelsea thinks. He’s on Victor’s side. They’re trying to get rid of the Santoris.
