“The Young and The Restless” spoilers tease that a Y&R character will soon die. In a recent interview, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hinted strongly at an upcoming death – and we have to wonder if it might be Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that falls prey.
Victor is clearly furious that Michael threw out all of his professional ethics out the window and tried to sabotage his defense – and in fact did so. The Young and the Restless spoilers insist that no matter what they’re accused of, someone on trial deserves a vigorous defense and Michael tossed all that out the window.
Is there a chance that Victor might scheme to have Michael killed for this ultimate betrayal? Victor was is hit with a guilty verdict on Wednesday’s episode and sentenced to state prison for 10 years – and Victor isn’t wrong to blame Michael for him ending up behind bars.
After all, Y&R spoilers point on that if Michael had done the job he was supposed to and fought off the accusations presented by Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), Victor would not have stepped up to play lawyer for himself and blown the case with his vicious attacks against his family and other witnesses.
Of course, it wasn’t Michael’s idea to throw the case – that’s down to Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) with an assist from Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E Bregman). But since Victor already ruined Phyllis’ life once, perhaps he’ll focus his wrath on Michael and his wife this time around.
The Young and the Restless spoilers ask if Victor would go so far as to put out a hit on Michael? You would hope that he would have learned his lesson, but we know better than that. After all, this is the guy who brought Marco Annicelli (Peter Bergman) to town and handed Jack over to a madwoman to torment.
Clearly Victor is capable of having Michael killed, but the big question is would he? After all, if Michael wound up dead in an alley somewhere, Victor would be the obvious culprit. Then again, if he’s behind bars, he’d have an air-tight alibi.
Of course The Moustache would be clever enough to wait until Michael is disbarred before having him killed. A disbarment of Vic’s lawyer will go a long way towards winning an appeal and having The Moustache’s sentence overturned.
What do you think Y&R fans? Remember that showrunners teased more than one death in the Newman Tower blaze back in October and not one person died. Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) were a ruse and both survived.
Is this another tease by “The Young and The Restless” to get fans talking and then not deliver the promised tragedy? What do you think? Share your comments below on whether you think there will really be a death and whether it might be Michael.
