“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for next week’s episode on Monday, May 16, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will mull over his sex session with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) until Victoria (Amelia Heinle) brings Johnny over. Victoria’s icy demeanor won’t do much to ease the tension for these two.
Later, Johnny will find Phyllis’ button and Billy will brood.
At the athletic club, Jack (Peter Bergman) will quiz Phyllis about her feelings for Billy. Phyllis will confess that she feels drawn to Billy, but she says it’s because they’re kindred spirits. Phyllis will point out that she’s sympathetic to what Billy is going through.
Jack will appear fairly satisfied and suggest that it’s good Billy has found a friend in Phyllis.
When Dr. Gates (Alicia Coppola) sees Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at the bar, she’ll introduce herself. A prickly Nikki will state that Dr. Gates is the new woman in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) life. Dr. Gates will imply that she’s only bonded with Victor as a friend. Nikki will urge Dr. Gates to be wary of Victor’s agenda. He always seems to have one.
Dr. Gates will counter that Victor deserves another chance to prove himself. Once Dr. Gates heads out, Y&R spoilers report that Nikki will ask the bartender for a martini. Jack will notice and intervene – when Jack clues in to what’s happening with his wife and Billy he’ll be the one needing the martinis, by the pitcher!
Meanwhile, Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will discuss the Victor situation. Adam will reassure Chelsea that Victor can’t touch their company or mess up their relationship.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Chelsea and Adam will decide to have an impromptu vow renewal at home. They’ll put on some spiffy clothes and light candles. Adam and Chelsea will exchange their old rings and recite vows based on the inscription.
They’ll promise to love each other “now and forever.”
Afterwards, Adam and Chelsea will find Nikki giving Jack updates on her chat with Dr. Gates. Nikki will worry that Dr. Gates could help Victor get out of prison. Phyllis will join in the conversation as Adam insists he’s taken care of it.
Chelsea will follow Phyllis when she stomps off. She’ll observe that Phyllis has a button missing while they’ll gripe about Victor.
Chelsea will mention her vow renewal to Phyllis. She’ll gush that Jack and Phyllis’ relationship is such an inspiration. Things will get awkward for Phyllis. She’ll argue that they have problems like everyone else. Chelsea will brush off that idea. She’ll think Jack and Phyllis are meant to be “now and forever” as well.
Adam will speak with Jack privately about his fears. He’ll suspect that Victor could indeed manage to secure his release. It may mean bad news for all of them. At Hank’s, Victoria will accept Travis’ (Michael Roark) invitation to go back to his place. In the distance, someone will take their picture as they exit the bar.
At Travis’ home, they’ll kiss passionately and strip down. After their hot hookup, Travis will doze off and Victoria will take a phone call. Billy will be on the other line and he’ll point out Victoria’s hushed tone. She’ll insist she isn’t whispering as she walks away from the bed. Billy will put Johnny on to say goodnight.
When Victoria comes back, Travis will be wide awake. He’ll comment on Victoria’s kid and she’ll get agitated. As Victoria gets dressed, Travis will say he likes children. Victoria won’t want her family involved in her love life. The Young and the Restless spoilers tell us that she’ll rush out despite Travis’ protests.
In prison, Victor won’t believe he’s being treated fairly. He’ll claim that Adam has it all wrong. Dr. Gates’ father won’t care whether the accusations are true or not. He’ll say Victor can plan on serving his full sentence. Later, Dr. Gates will return and Victor will let her know what her dad thinks.
Dr. Gates will wonder if there’s any truth to the notion that Victor is using her. Victor will contend that he truly wants another shot to reconcile with his family. Dr. Gates won’t be sure she can trust Victor. He’ll agree that the doc has no way of knowing if she can.
As Victor turns to leave, he’ll give Dr. Gates a peck on the cheek. Victor will look pleased with himself as he struts back to his cell. Will Victor be able to pull off his plot in spite of Adam’s efforts? Y&R buzz suggests that Victor definitely has a few tricks in store.
