James Kennedy convinces himself that Kristen Doute is still the answer to all his problems, even after getting him fired.
On the last episode, after Tom Sandoval forced Jax to answer for his recent bad behavior, Jax cheered himself up by buying Brittany a boob job. Lisa was faced with a big decision when James made a scene at PUMP. Sandoval lasers the tattoo off his butt, Katie’s beach party got even hotter when Kristen and Ariana had it out, and Ariana makes a stunning statement that left both Scheana and Katie speechless. On tonight’s show as per the Bravo synopsis, “Against Lisa’s better advice, Katie surprises Stassi in Palm Springs. Following their conversation last week when Ariana had admitted out loud that she was sick of pretending to enjoy herself around Katie and Scheana, Katie and Schwartz have actually gotten into an argument about Ariana. And that particular fight nearly resulted in the end of their engagement.
Apparently Katie and Schwartz had gone out to dinner after that not so fun time at the beach and what happened next varies. Katie had gone on to tell Scheana that she had felt sick of Ariana’s behavior and that she had been looking for a little sympathy from Schwartz when he chose to instead defend Ariana to her, but Schwartz would tell his friends something very different. He said that Katie was telling a story that only fit her narrative and that he told her that it wasn’t right. Which wasn’t necessarily him choosing Ariana’s side.
Either way, though, it led to a fight and the fight only got worse the more Katie consumed vodka. So she had started to drunk rage text her fiancée once he tried to walk away from where their fight was heading. And the nearly four hours’ worth of angry texts had made Schwartz not even want to look at her the next morning.
Katie had vented and what she said had made Schwartz if that’s what she’s always thinking about him and their relationship.
So it ended up being a good thing that Katie was going out of town with Scheana. Even though they had first told Kristen had who planned a girls’ weekend to Palm Springs that thy weren’t going to go because they knew Stassi was going to be there. But, apparently, the ladies changed their minds once they realized they could surprise Stassi. And that Stassi would be at her most honest if she didn’t have time to create a story.
And while the ladies were doing that, Schwartz and Jax were back home helping out their friend Peter who had foolishly offered to babysit his girlfriend’s kids.
Now the guys definitely enjoyed themselves playing zombies and building fortes, but they were ultimately tired out by the little boy and they felt like kids were a lot more effort than they looked. So Jax and Schwartz had probably babysat for the last time. And without a kid around – Schwartz finally got Lisa’s opinion on his fight with Katie.
Lisa, as you know, wants everyone to get along so she tries to facilitate whatever makeup she can. And therefore after she reassured Schwartz that Katie hadn’t meant everything she texted to him, which was at one point “I’m glad I’m not pregnant because then I would have been stuck with you”, she then tried to help Ariana makeup with Scheana. Though Ariana didn’t appear as if she wanted to fix the rift between her and Scheana.
The ladies had first argued about Scheana suddenly hanging out with Kristen, but their relationship was actually called into question after their own texting scandal. Scheana had basically told Ariana’s mother that Tom was being a negative influence on Ariana and that she thought he was dragging her friend down. So Ariana had felt betrayed by what Scheana had done and she’s only been pretending to be happy around Scheana since then.
But Scheana had come to miss her when she was in Palm Springs. Katie had apparently forgiven Stassi for the past after they had talked and so Katie was once again friends with both Kristen and Stassi which in turn made Scheana feel left out. So that’s when she began missing Ariana.
Ariana however has made it pretty clear to everyone that she’s no longer going to be catering to Scheana’s feelings. So it does like that relationship is at an impasse because neither Scheana nor Ariana are prepared to admit they hurt the other. Yet, besides each other, they don’t seem to have another friend that could fill in the void.
Though, you want to hear something funny, James and Kristen are planning on meeting up next week because they want to discuss their relationship moving forward.
And doesn’t that just sound like trouble?
