Tonight on Bravo Vanderpump Rules returns with an all new Monday March 21, season 4 episode 21 called, “Reunion Part One” we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, the reunion part one kicks off with Kristen Doute in the hot seat as she faces the heat from James Kennedy and Ariana Madix.
On the last episode, in the season four finale, Lisa Vanderpump hosted the biggest party of the year: Katie and Tom Schwartz’s engagement. Guests of dishonor Kristen and Stassi stirred up trouble, and trash-talking Lala created a scene. Jax must atone for his crimes first in a criminal court, then in a much-anticipated reunion with Stassi. Did you watch the last episode? On tonight’s show as per the Bravo synopsis, “the reunion part one kicks off with Kristen in the hot seat as she faces the heat from James and Ariana. Also, Lala discusses the difficulties of being the new girl at SUR, plus Jax, Schwartz and Sandoval delve into their wild trip to Vegas.”

The cast was back on tonight’s reunion and it seems not much has changed since their final episode when James’s habits once again created an issue.
James as many of us know has something of an addiction. Meaning it is an addiction, but so as long as it’s amusing to everyone then they’re not going to voluntarily say anything against it. Though this season was a little bit different because several people had tried to at least stop James from consuming so much. And he quite honestly ignored them for the most part.
So much so in fact that it wasn’t surprising when Lisa mentioned during the reunion that he was back on suspension at Pump. Where he apparently got into another drunken and heated argument. Yet, his suspension means nothing to James. He still loves to abuse alcohol and the only thing that holds almost as dear to him as that would be fighting with Jax.
Jax and James again got into a minor argument during the reunion and Andy had to actually call a stop it because he wanted to move things along like onto James’s relationship with Kristen. But soon that topic also ended in an argument between James and Jax seeing as many viewers at home believe James had been using Kristen. As a way to make onto the show and get her to pay for the things.
Therefore, there was no such thing as a safe or off limits because this particular group set had no filter. So Jax did defend Kristen even though she said she had only begun sleeping with James as a way to get over Tom and that she had never cheated on James which Tom for one found laughable. Especially as he and James were going to be moving with each other when she suddenly decided to date James and have him stay with her.
And yet no one had anything to say to Andy when he asked if LA was really that small?
Although the reason he had asked this was because it did seem as if everyone had once lived with someone else in the cast. Which was almost true. James and Tome nearly lived together, Tom and Kristen lived together, Tom and Schwartz lived together, Jax and Stassi had formerly lived together, and even Lala was currently living in Stassi’s old room. So after hearing it all out, Lala did agree with Andy when she said that LA was small, but unfortunately that then put her in the spotlight.
Lala has been a newcomer to the group and she has since made some rather big mistakes. She has lied to Lisa about going to Italy for a shoot yet the truth was she had gone away to enjoy herself with a man she was supposedly not sleeping with. But no one believes that story. And Lala has made the crucial mistake of not just listening to Jax but also believing him when he said he didn’t have a girlfriend.
He did have a girlfriend that he had downplayed to Lala in order to sleep with Lala though Brittany timely arrival to LA had ensured that nothing would happen. Though that’s Jax for you. He hears what he wants to hear and says what he needs to say in order to get his own way. That’s why it’s not that shocking that Jax has been stepping on people’s feelings for a long time now.
Jax had apparently downplayed Shay’s addiction to prescription and mentioned that Shay only takes those things because of Scheana. Yet thankfully he has since apologized for his comments and he apologized again on tonight’s episode. So he does admit when he’s wrong at least eventually anyways.
However, many viewers at home had been shocked with the way Scheana herself reacted to Shay’s addiction. For Scheana had once stated that she didn’t want her husband to drink so much that he forgets himself and, in her own word, she didn’t wanted him to find a happy medium between sloppy and a bore. Which sounded like she was saying that she thought her husband would become a bore if stopped drinking all together.
So Scheana received a lot of blacklash from that and some of her own castmates had even said that she’s using Shay’s drinking as a way to demean him. Although, Scheana had defended herself by saying that no one knows what hers marriage is like because they’re on the outside looking in and that was kind of funny seeing as she once done the same (i.e. judging a relationship) wot Ariana and Tom. And funnily the other couple chose to remain silent on that matter for tonight.
But they were fine with talking out their frustrations with Kristen. Kristen if you recall had gone on an apology tour in which she apologized to everyone she’s offended yet neither Tom nor Ariana bought her apology to Ariana. They seem to think that she had done so to butter her way with the rest of their group and so they had teamed up with James and Lala to take a go at her.
And yet Tom continues to believe that he has made peace with Kristen when really hasn’t.
He was mad at her for the way she treated him when they were together and the way she treated Ariana when they weren’t together. So all of that goes for Ariana as well. While Lala was angry because Kristen had merely pretended to give her a chance but then started to call her names the second she found out she and James were friends with benefits.
And James had an issue with Kristen tonight though they’ll probably be on good speaking terms come tomorrow.
