The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Genoa City will see another trial that might have devastating results. This time around it could be revealed that Christian is actually Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) son and not Nick Newman’s (Joshua Marrow) son – Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) could be to blame.
On the November 23 episode of Y&R a lot of things hit the fan. Dylan (Steve Burton) told Nick that he was going to sue for visitation rights. Like every lawsuit in the history of Genoa City lawyers Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Leslie (Angell Conwell) will do everything they can to get their client to win – but first the most obvious step to take into settling this suit is finding out who is the biological father of the little boy.
Yes, there was a blood test proving that Christian did not belong to Sharon (Sharon Case), but there wasn’t a blood test proving that he was Nick and Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) son. Even if there is no suspicion from either side it just seems like normal procedure and a correct technical step to take.
If this test is done and the results comes out in court who knows what the outcome will be. Will Nick still be able to raise Christian or will Chelsea be given the baby (seeing that she’s technically next of kin). This would be devastating for Nick, however everyone knows that Chelsea and Nick are expected to shack up anyway.
Either way that could turn out to be good news for Dylan and helps him get visitation rights if it is proven that Nick is not Christian’s father. Dylan’s chances would be best if he cuts Sharon loose like he is expected to – even if on a recent episode he said he wouldn’t.
If the blood test is taken BEFORE the trial and only Nick knows the secret, he will most likely use Chelsea as a shoulder to cry on and settle with Dylan out of court so he doesn’t get Christian taken away from him again.
Another possibility is blabber mouth Chloe telling Sharon that Christian isn’t even Nick’s baby and Sharon running with that information, ultimately bringing it up to Michael to use in court and make the judge ask Nick to take a blood test to prove paternity.
How would Chloe know? Well remember that Chloe had access to Sage’s journal pages when Victor (Eric Braedon) was playing God once again and trying to frame Adam? Well who’s to say that she didn’t have access to ALL of the journal pages and somewhere in there Sage mentioned Adam being Christian’s real father. Chloe is known to keep a secret or five up her sleeve and who’s to say this isn’t one of them.
The Young and the Restless spoilers remind us that doors should be closed when discussing life altering secrets – and every time Victor and Chelsea link up they discuss the paternity of Christian when people are just in the other room. We know how sneaky Chloe could be so she could easily eavesdrop and find out if she doesn’t already know the secret and run to her new best buddy Sharon.
After all on the Monday, November 28 episode of the Young and the Restless Chloe let Sharon around Christian and openly admitted that she would do it again hinting that it won’t be the last time Chloe will betray her BFF Chelsea.
